Although the breakfast area was being remodeled, the temporary space was fine. The room was remodeled, clean and everything I normally expect from a Hampton. I am a Hilton Honors Diamond and normally stay in Hilton properties, but this one exceeded expectations.More
If you want a quiet, clean and friendly place to stay in Denver (Lakewood) area, give this place a try! We love the helpful staff and great breakfasts!! Wish it was a pet-friendly stay, but otherwise it is excellent! Location is excellent to shopping too!

Easy freeway access, good Mexican restaurant right next door. We went to Golden, CO one day, went down to Pike's Peak another. The hotel is close to a main highway. Air conditioning wasn't working in the hotel, but it was in our room. They did get the main air conditioning working, but the elevators were HOT! Run of the mill free hotel breakfast. Protein choices were hard boiled eggs and peanut butter. There was some sort of egg and cheese looking thing called a "bagel topper". The people that worked there were all very nice. There was a rain storm one night and we had water coming in through the ceiling. They responded right away and we moved to a different room close by.

This was our first experience with Hampton and we travel several times a year. The air conditioning in the lobby/common areas and elevators did not work during our stay. Breakfast food mas mediocre and difficult to access as the area was small due to renovation. During our stay a storm hit and rain ran in from the roof into our room (and apparently several others and the lobby area). We were given another room but no other consisderation.

I stayed here in May for one night. We were a late check-in at probably 1 AM so we were quite eager to get to our room. Check-in was smooth and the man working the front desk made me feel very welcome. The lobby was clean as were the hallways, very nice. The elevator was probably 150 degrees which was very noticeable and very uncomfortable. The room was okay. The bed was very lumpy, but because I can fall asleep anywhere, that didn't matter much. However, the bathroom was not as clean as I would have liked it to be. There was toilet paper fragments on the toilet and hair on the floor. I understand things can be missed though and ignored it being as it was so late in the night.

I enjoyed my stay with minimal issues. They were having problems with the hotel room key entry, but they solved the problem and were courteous. If you like a quiet room, be sure to ask not to be on the first floor or near the lobby. It can be noisy when families are staying there. There are a number of rooms near the front entrance which might be nice for families or groups staying at the hotel.
