We were visiting our son and his family in Denver and he said you have to see this place. You will love it. Set in a part of town that will gentrify very soon I am sure...it is a very old building that has been repurposed. The inside is two floors of European import items. From kitchen must haves to toys for kids. The star of the show however is a room that is as cold as a refrigerator because it is in fact a refrigerator. We missed the coats on the hooks outside the door so were totally unprepared for the cold. Do grab a coat. It is a really really big refrigerator where cheeses of all kinds reside until you take them home. They have very good light fare in their restaurant. Sandwiches, soups, quiches. Hopefully all with their cheese. The decor is unusual and upbeat consisting of cast offs that have been painted or re colored in some other way to blend with their theme. I even commented that it would have been so much fun to shop for the objects to decorate this place. Friday night auctions here we come. All in all it is such an unusual repurposing of so many things it is worth a stop by. For lunch, to shop for cheese or to shop for out of the ordinary gift items. Don't miss this.
