My buddies' band 'Funk Knuf' was playing Friday night at the Dickens Opera House, just upstairs from the Dickens Tavern. This is a wonderful old venue with very high ceilings and huge stage. It has been fitted with a very nice sound system, and if you haven't seen any sort of entertainment there, you owe yourself a visit. Steven behind the bar is a bartender's bartender. A bit of a showman, and very on top of his game. Thanks for a great night out in wonderful downtown Longmont.

Great place to meet friends and family. Good location with plenty of parking in the back. Food and beverage selections were adequate. Just a little noisy when crowded.

This place is very cool! Awesome atmosphere and neat vintage feel.

We had wonderful service by Christina! The food was all wonderful aside from one buffalo pasta dish. It had an excessive amount of hot sauce. I highly recommend the banana bread pudding. It has a Jamison Whiskey sauce that is to die for! Onion rings were also delicious!

I would go back for sure!

My favorite place in Longmont. The food at the Tavern is amazing. Many great shows in the Opera House. Incredible history to the location. And the annual Dickens Horror Film Fest is second to none.

Friendly, competent service. Homemade comfort food, made with fresh ingredients. Flavorful. One person in our party had the Chile Rellenos, and said it had a delicious flavor, and the green chili had just the right amount of heat. Another person had the chicken fried chicken and really liked it. I had an old-fashioned cheeseburger and onion rings. Burger was delicious, onion rings were crispy, batter fried, made in house, lovely flavor. Their pickles (made there, I think) were very good. Would definitely return there to eat.
