We liked everything so much--decor, music, wait staff and the not-to-be missed Chocolate Tower dessert {!!!!} the first time we went, that the Chop House is our go-to place for a really good meal in a great atmosphere. We went here with family from across the country--and all agreed this was a most satisfying evening. Good bar, nice wine list--it was my sister's birthday--and there was a personal birthday card at her place--signed by staff! Food --from steak to dessert--pleased everyone--and there are some picky people in that group!
I can't seem to order anything by the Cedar Plank Salmon--perfect every time. Pork tenderloin is a favorite of others--and the smashed potatoes are very {very!} good.
Food is well prepared; nicely presented--and actually more reasonably priced than some other venues in Loveland without the ambience or service Chop House has.
This is a very comfortable place--and caters to all pocketbooks. Check out the Early Bird opportunities and the Sunday wine dinner.

Very nice, upscale steakhouse in downtown Loveland. Excellent service and very good food. I can't rate the steak since I had salmon. Expensive and very busy on weekends.

Ordered the lamb dish over smashed potatoes with a side of the salad. The lamb was well flavoured, perfectly cooked to my specifications. Don't ask what's in the mashed potatoes if your on a diet - just enjoy them!

The table shared the creme brûlée - a perfect end to the meal.

Wine was expensive but where is it it? The first bottle I ordered was out of stock.

Disclosure: I was with a family with weekly standing reservations. Staff was warm, and clearly know who they were.

I was excited to try the Chop House, but ended up disappointed. While the food was good, it was incredibly expensive, and the wait person was very snooty. When we selected a lower priced bottle of wine than the one they suggested they instantly changed their demeanor, and didn't have any interest in us. That in itself soured our experience.

Great food, service, a free bottle of wine on Sunday evenings and a welcoming staff. We celebrated our wedding aniversary and the staff made a big deal of it being a special occasion.
