My husband and I spent 4 wonderful days at the Sundance Bear Lodge in Mancos, Colorado. The lodge was bright and beautiful with so many artistic and playful touches. It is comfortable and so inviting; great views from every window, a big fireplace, comfy seating and a very informal atmosphere. It was better than many of the fancy resorts I have stayed at in Jackson Hole. I especially enjoyed the big fireplace and the grand dining table. Where we made new friends, had delicious breakfasts and interesting and fun conversations with our hosts and other guests.

We stayed in the Mesa Verde room which was very romantic with a gas fireplace, big bed and cozy SouthWestern décor. It was also quiet and so relaxing after a day of sightseeing and hiking.

Bob and Sue Scott were friendly and informative. They were so attentive to our needs they seemed to remember what we needed even before we did. They were so very helpful with directions and suggestions for sights and activities we were never bored or without something to do. There was a binder in our room with information as well. They really knew their community and what it had to offer.

I would highly recommend a stay at Sundance Bear Lodge to my family and friends. I hope to return there soon to see our new ‘old friends’, the Scotts and their family of pets.

Warm, friendly atmosphere, Easy access to all the surrounding tourist sights and attractions. Hosts are quite knowledgeable about local history and informative about points of interst. Ambience of dining and social area relaxing and encourages conversation with other guests.

We spent 3 wonderful days at the Cabin. it was a great central location to tour Mesa Verdi, Canyon of the Ancients, and Hovenweep.
The Cabin was just rustic enough.. but had nice homey accommodations. Bob was a great innkeeper .. friendly but not overbearing.
The views from the cabin's deck of Mesa Verdi were beautiful.
We enjoyed our time there and would certainly return and tell others about it.

Bob and Susan are great B&B hosts. They practically lend you their home during your stay. The breakfasts were great and their information and suggestions about the area were a big help in helping us to enjoy our time there. We would love to go back.

This was an absolute treat. The hospitality was warm, the lodging was lovely and comfortable, the setting was beautiful. If only we could find a place like this for every trip we would like to take. Thank you very much to the Scotts.
