“We LOVE this motel and the owners !!”

My wife and I have stayed the the Dillon Motel at least 10 times and have never had a bad experience. The owners are extremely nice and accessible. We love seeing the animals that come right up to the motel. The rooms are very clean and nice.

I ALWAYS stay at the Dillon Motel whenever I visit Manitou Springs. I am there at least 3-4 times a year. This is the ONLY motel I will stay at because it is SO peaceful and comfortable. The owners are very nice and it is very clean.

This is an old place, with some things like I grew up with. Everything was clean, and in good working order. I love looking out the window in the morning and seeing the deer right in the yard!

I am not worried about a couple of elm beetles. I know what a struggle it is to keep them out of everything if you have elm trees. We are planning a weekend here over July 4th.

This place is in really bad shape, although the pool was immaculate and the owners were very nice. The room was in poor condition and two weeks after staying there, my whole family broke out in Scabies (very nasty parasite). My Dermatologist suggests that the hotel was the probable source of the Scabies. It has been very hard to treat us for this persistent parasite and I would not recommend anyone stay at that hotel. What we saved in nightly fees, we have spent on medical cream to cure us.

I would like to say, we are sorry for their medical situation. Our property is sprayed with insecticide, both inside our rooms and around the outside property twice a month. We have large elm trees, that on occasion produce elm beetles and our trees are sprayed twice during the summer. The Dermatologist suggests a probable source, not an exact source. Public restrooms are a probable source, etc. We take pride in our valued customers and do our very best to accommodate them. We have 12 cabin units and 3 new large luxury rooms. Thank you for your consideration.

We stayed two nights at the Dillon Motel after reading reviews on TripAdvisor. After I emailed about availability, then called to make the reservation, the owner emailed a photo of the inside of the actual cottage we would be staying in. That was a nice start to our stay. The owners are so friendly and will do anything to make sure you have a good stay. The place is a little dated, but in a fun, campy kind of way. We loved the feeling that we were in an old Route 66-type motor lodge! Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. There's a mini kitchen with a microwave and mini fridge that we used for several meals rather than eating out. It's very close to all the area attractions. And the owner feeds the deer that come up to the property. The morning we checked out, he brought us a picture to keep that he had taken that morning of several deer right in front of our cottage door! The kids enjoyed the pool, which was also very clean. Great place to stay!

Great bargain (very inexpensive) for clean rooms. Owners very nice and polite. We stayed in one of the older rooms that had been renovated. Newer rooms were available but we didn't see them. Rooms had a dated look but contained all the necessities (mini fridge, microwave, tv, air conditioning). There is a pool on the premises but we didn't use it. The owners cleaned the rooms as soon as we left for sightseeing in the morning.

I found the cabins to be old, but very clean and very comfortable. The owners are friendly and helpful. Sitting out on the porch in the evenings or early morning hours was so peaceful and relaxing. Watching the deer come up to the hotel office for a "treat" was an extra unexpected experience!
