Over the years I have wanted to stay at this rodeway inn when I visited Colorado springs because of the hotels good rating. It was never convent to stay in Manitou springs. I very much enjoyed my stay. The front person was very nice.

The room was fine, the hotel was clean and well-run, the people were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast area was especially nice and clean. A nice touch - there was someone there to make the waffles for us, which avoided a mess in the eating area. And we had some good conversation to boot!

The 2 queen beds are good, the pillows are average but they do give an extra pillow per room. The blankets, towels and sheets are motel 6 quality. The rooms are clean and well equipped with a microwave, fridge, desk and many comfortable chairs.

The breakfast room is spotless, the menu items are sparse but do include waffles made to order by a very friendly breakfast attendant. The outside could use some maintenance and they allow people in the non-smoking rooms to sit outside their rooms in the walkway and smoke. A very bad idea to allow smoking within close proximity to a non-smoking room.

The wi-fi did not work during our visit.

Overall a good room and a very good price for the area.

Room tip: check out the fridge to make sure it is one of the quiet models.

Thanks for your comments , yes we do let smoking out side the room because we have found that if we do not they will smoke inside the rooms and it makes it harder to clean the rooms and get the smell of smoke out of the room . Sorry about we do ask that they step away from the room doors and smoke away from other guest . Again Sorry about this . Thank you Davy

We stayed here for two nights this week, it is the off season so they weren't busy. The rooms were spacious and clean. Told front desk they didn't need to make beds but did it anyway which was nice. I would stay again. We arrive late but front desk called and made arrangements for key, but ended up staying to greet us. Good customer service.

This is nothing fancy so don't expect the broadmoor hotel. It's alittle outdated but for the price you can not beat it. Where it really excels at that it is 21 and over and the perfect hotel to party in not worry about bothering the other guest and be left alone being we were there for a wedding it made the perfect after party spot. It is in the middle of Manitou with plenty of restaurants and shops in walking distance. They cleaned the rooms very well everyday even change the comforters. I believe they offer smoking rooms. The free breakfast has a really good waffle but everything is lacking but not a big deal because there are so many good restaurants in the area you probably wouldn't want to go to it anyway. The only negative thing that happen was I took one everything to bring back to the room where 2 other people still getting ready and the guy in the breakfast room stopped me and ask what I was going with all the food which was not much it was 6 items after I explained he didn't look happy or say anything just walked in the back but nothing came of it just alittle wierd. Overall nothing fancy but right for price and a secluded place to have friends over for drinks.
