“Best freakin' ice cream we've eaten in a long time...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 May 2013

We saw several ice cream places while we were walking around Manitou Springs, but my sons insisted Pikes Peak Chocolate and Ice Cream was where we were going. I am so glad they insisted, because their ice cream is scrumptious!!! We each got waffle cones with 2 different flavor scoops in each...and we savored every lick! My kids were so enthused about their ice cream that they persuaded several other people to stop in and get some too!
Josh and John's is the BEST ice cream we've eaten in a long time....best in Colorado!!!

“Nice treat”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 September 2012

We stopped for an ice cream while visting Manitou Springs - The sign does say Best Ice Cream in Colorado.

I couldnt decide between the Coconut Almond or the Mocha Java Chip - so the girl at the counter gave me half a scoop of each -Thank you!

The Mocha Java was excellent - the coconut was not what I expected. Ice cream was almond flavour (and not the good kind) too much fake almond extract. Bites of coconut and chocolate were yummy too. But I kept getting little crunchy chunks of what tasted like brittle without the nuts. It was okay - was hoping for something like an Almond Joy.

Would recommend - get the Mocha Java!

“Delicious ice cream!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 September 2012

While shopping and touring Manitou Springs, we saw a great number of people coming out of this ice cream/chocolate shop & just had to stop in for a scoop. Delicious ice cream...really different flavors as well. Not as pricey as some ice cream shops. Recommend the chocolate mocha with coffee beans!
