This was a very unsual rock formation. Enjoyed all the different colors of the rocks. A good free trip.

Free state park, there are many hikers, bikers, and other vehicles on the few park roads, and many pull-offs. Views from the pull-offs are usually of one or more rock formations in the brocure you can get from the trading post, the visitors' center, or most any other place in Manitou Springs. We got ours at Miramont Castle, but some were at the cog railway depot, too.

I've been there several times on visits to Manitou and it is one of the best shops I have ever been in as far as huge selection and a neat, authentic, rustic atmosphere. You could spend an easy hour or two looking through their inventory. Last trip I got a variety of things, from the coolest dress I now own to a gorgeous piece of art, and a necklace I wear all the time...plus some gifts for my daughter.

The Trading Post is a great stop along the drive through the Garden of the Gods. Next time I'm in that area, I will visit it again.

Made this a stop after visiting the Garden of the Gods park. Something for everyone there and also loved the art gallery. Food smelled amazing, although we had just eaten elsewhere. Kids loved it, lots of Indian made items.
