We left this stay very disappointed with the unsympathetic hospitality of the new management; it resulted in a very uncaring and dissatisfying stay. When we checked in, the innkeeper was very nice, and we thought we had found a good B&B-- At first. However, in the morning, we opted not to come downstairs for breakfast because we were exhausted. At 10 a.m., the hotel staff phoned us insisting that we come down "immediately" for breakfast since they were still holding it for us. (Breakfast was at 8 a.m.) We agreed to come down, and my 10-year-old daughter and I hurried to get downstairs. When we got there they told us that they had thrown our breakfast away. However, we could clearly see the breakfasts on the counter of their kitchen. If it isn't the epitome of bad service to make a small child cry, I'm not sure what is. $225 a night? Not worth it. When we checked out, the innkeeper was very snide and said "Sorry things didn't work out this morning," with a very "oh well" attitude, and not the professional attitude one would expect from a hotel manager. I give the B&B a good rating for the room, but a shabby rating for the treatment of its patrons. Take a pass... You can do better. After all, you're paying over $200 for it, and you're the guest.
