We stayed in a one bedroom unit. It was very outdated and worn. The bedroom had a queen bed that was okay. There was a flat screen tv but very limited channel selection. There was a bathroom sink in the bedroom, one in the hallway outside the bathroom and one in the bathroom. Odd. The shower was in the middle of a huge garden tub that you have to climb up two stairs and hang on to the bar and climb down into the tub. If you are the least bit handicap you will NOT be able to get into and out of the shower. The garden tub is huge but is NOT a hot tub - there are no jets only bubbles. The kitchen was okay. Pots and pans were old and worn but there was plenty of supplies, full size fridge and stove. The washer and dryer were the stack models and were not even the large size stack models. The dryer took hours to dry a small load of clothes. The living room furniture was dated and uncomfortable and there wasn't a good reading light. There was a flat screen tv but the reception was not very good on any of the very limited number of channels available. The provided wifi service was poor from our room - right across the street from the office. We do travel with an air card and even that service was limited at best. We were there during the summer so we do have to admit that there may be more to do during the winter; however, we only found one restaurant within 40 miles and two convenience stores with convenience store prices. Be sure to shop before you arrive or plan a long trip out to a grocery store later. The view from our room would have been great had the windows and screens been clean enough to see out. They came and weed wacked the front yard mid week and left all the remains on the sidewalk to be carried in the door on our feet. Figure we killed about 20 spiders and ants in the room during the week. We took a day trip up over the Mesa one day to Black Canyon National Park that was well worth the trip. We also took a day trip to Palaisade to follow the wine and fruit trail. That was also a good time.
For anyone that is not a skiier and looking for a place to stay during the summer. Do NOT consider this resort if you have any mobility issues at all. The condos are on a hillside and every room requires stairs to get access to the room. In fairness, I know this is a ski lodge and that would not be a problem for them but for a summer sightseeing traveler, this is not your place.
