“All the Comforts of Home with a View!”
Reviewed 15 June 2017 for a stay in June 2017

Location: Fantastic! Mountain side at over 8400 feet, cool breezes, views, easy access to Red Rocks and the towns of Morrison and Conifer.

Features: The master loft is comfortable and spacious with a great shower (note: the back of the house is lots of windows to enjoy the view, so be prepared to get the morning sunshine). There is also a bed and bath down on the main floor. Large living room with big screen TV (satellite), fireplace and doors out onto the large deck (we spent lots of time there). Full kitchen will all the necessities and dining area. The caretakers stay in the apartment below and were so nice in responding to requests and providing local suggestions. There's also a hot tub, but we didn't get around to trying it out.

Summary: I'd love to stay here again. Booking was easy and the owner communicated well.

“Awesome place to stay near Red Rocks”
Reviewed 21 May 2017 for a stay in August 2016

This place is such a wonderful place to stay. My husband and I stayed here and loved the view as well as the beautiful home. The master bedroom is a loft and you look out tall windows to the back yard where we saw a deer. At night you see the city lights far below. It's just beautiful. The host of the cabin was also very accommodating and welcoming. We'll definitely be back!

“Perfect place to relax and unplug”

Breakfast on the deck at Ladybug Lodge as the sun comes up is the perfect way to start the day. The owner Lynae has everything setup so perfectly to make your visit super hassle free. The lodge is very comfortable and cozy and we truly enjoyed our stay. From chipmunks and rabbits strolling across the deck to the large screen TV it is a great place to relax and unwind.

“Mrs. Lynae is an Angel!!”
Reviewed 7 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

I took 8 of my friends from Arkansas across the country to see the Rocky Mountains over spring break. I chose Ladybug Lodge based on the excellent, central location to the mountains and Denver. It has such a mountain cabin feel without having to drive for hours. Oh and we really wanted a hot tub! Which was awesome!

We arrived early on Sunday and Mrs. Lynae was cleaning so went into the nearby town of Conifer to get groceries and look around.

When we got back Mrs. Lynae took us through the house and over how everything worked and what to watch out for. Very helpful. She had labeled everything in the house so that within a day it felt like we knew where everything was as far as cooking/cleaning/household supplies, which makes you feel more at home.

We went for a hike the next day in Rocky Mountain National Park. BEAUTIFUL. You have to make a trip to dream lake! We came back to the house and relaxed in the hot tub (which is down stairs on the lower deck where Mrs. Lynae lives, but it is completely closed off from her part of the house so you don't feel like you are intruding.)

Day 3 we were tired so didn't get into Denver to shop until late.

Day 4 we had planned to spend more time in Denver but a HUGE blizzard hit. Snow drifts waist high blew in overnight and even the postal service wasn't running. We, a bunch of Arkansas hillbillies were not prepared for such an event and had not stocked up on food.
Mrs. Lynae to the rescue! She brought us tons of leftover boxes and cans of food that she had from a few recent tenants! So nice!
Not only did she feed us, she worked all afternoon with her snowblower clearing the driveway and around all of our cars which were parked up on the road. Saved us hours of work.

The next day we cleaned off the cars and made it down the mountain and drove to Loveland Ski area for an afternoon of skiing and snowboarding.

The next day we went home, wishing we had more time to stay in such nice place with such nice people like Mrs. Lynae.

Thanks Mrs. Lynae,

Hope to be back soon!

“Great place to stay if you are planning a concert at Red Rocks!”
Reviewed 4 September 2015 for a stay in August 2015

This cabin was not hard to find. It was nice and close to Red Rocks which is why we originally planned our Colorado Trip. Everything else that we visited was 1-2 hours away depending. Very quiet area and the owner was super nice. The hot tub could have been cleaned a little before hand but still relaxing. The cabin itself had everything you needed. Nice, clean and comfortable!

“We will be back :)”
Reviewed 19 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Lynae thinks about everything! She left instructions on how to use all the appliances in her rental. Her kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans plus any essentials you might need. The beds are extra comfy. The location is quiet and secluded with minimal light pollution. The deck was by far our favorite part we really enjoyed the lighting feature that she has install.

Lynae herself is very approachable and friendly. Bonus: Lynae was fostering a litter of kittens while we visited.

“Peaceful, Relaxation In The Mountains”

My brother and I came and stayed at the Ladybug Lodge towards the end of January and couldn't be happier with our experience. Lynae was as kind, courteous, and even allowed us to use her chains when we got stuck in the snow - drove an Accord in Jan (Not a great idea). Also, we're very attached to our Feline boys and she didn't mind them tagging along as well.

We couldn't be more pleased and would definitely like to come back and stay again - the master bedroom was amazing. The only complaint I can possibly think of is the night sky view could've been even more mesmerizing if some of those tall trees were to be cut down.

It was a fantastic experience all-around. Couldn't be happier with our first trip to Denver! Thanks, Lynae!!!!
