Thanks, Jan, for a wonderful, relaxing weekend in Ouray. The room was immaculate (the new carpets are great!), and everyone was friendly. Even our pooch enjoyed his stay. Breakfast was good (love the waffles!) and plentiful. We will be back to see the trees turn in the Fall.

Room Tip: There are family suites with a balcony overlooking the river, and about half the regular rooms back...

We (party of 4 couples) originally planned to stay 2 nights in Ouray, but the rooms and the service were so amazing that we stayed an extra night. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and lush. The service was exemplary. If I ever return to Ouray, this will be the place that I stay!

We just got back from the 2014 FJ Summit gathering. This was the perfect place to stay. The owners were very nice, and extremely helpful. It is such a pretty location and the room was very comfortable, with clothes washing facilities right at the hotel, and hot tubs, too! We'd love to come back!

I'm really quite sad. I was considering this Inn as lodging for some of my wedding guests. The owner was rude, rude, rude! She informed me that the weekend my fiance and I have chosen was a terrible weekend to get married in Ouray. Why on earth she would say this, or what purpose it served is beyond me. I KNOW it's a busy weekend... maybe that's what she meant to say? I understand it might be a busy weekend and she might not have room but that's no excuse for her snotty behavior. I have called multiple other hotels and inns in the area and they have all been much more friendly and accommodating. In less than 5 minutes she made me want to avoid her and her property completely. On the off chance that we do decide to change the date of our wedding, we will definitely encourage our wonderful guests to save themselves from this woman's attitude and stay somewhere, anywhere else!

We spend our summers at our cabin in Colorado and when we want to visit the Hot Springs in Ouray, we always stay at Vicorian Inn. Great accomodations with the best complimentary breakfast we have ever experienced. The staff always makes us feel at home and they are very helpful and informative. Looking forward to our next stay there!

We arrived at noon on Wednesday July 1st, 2014. Although check in was later, they were able to accommodate us and meet our needs. We were traveling with my brother who has special needs, but when we booked through a booking site, none of our requests were logged in. Jan (the owner), and her husband Brian bent over backwards in getting us the lodging we needed! Then we got to the room......The family suite (room #115) is amazing! With 2 rooms, plenty of sleeping space, and the best feature - your own. private back porch overlooking the beautiful river. The sound is so soothing - and it is about 15 degrees cooler due to the water. AMAZING! We were also pleased to find one of the neatest trails 100 yards away - Box Canyon. WELL worth the small entrance fee and hike!
The next day, we went to breakfast and had the best farm fresh scrambled eggs of our vacation. There was plenty to choose from - fresh made oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, bagels....it was a wonderful way to start our busy day!
You are close enough to just walk to the main drag and back. We ate some pretty good burgers at Maggie's (be warned - the hamburgers are much thicker than the elk or buffalo burgers....and they are a bit greasy....but sooo good!) Plenty of art and t-shirt shops - and EVERYONE sells coffee! We enjoyed dinner at Ouray Brewery and it was great to have a super short ride back to our hotel.
The linens are nice, the towels are soft - plenty of hooks to hang whatever you want on - and they even offer a "roughie"...a part of a towel for wiping down equipment. The water pressure was also fantastic!
Not anything negative to say about this place. The view out the front door is of mountains with a river in the back! Hopefully , I will make it back again sometime -

The inn had updated, comfortable rooms with new carpeting and bedding. Room included free wifi, flat screen tv and refrigerator. Stayed four nights while jeeping and day tripping. Friendly, owners. Enjoyed the river patio. Grounds include outside seating, a playground, gorgeous flowers, and nestled between mountain views. Very pleased with this selection after researching the area. Would definitely stay here again. Family friendly.
