We were on a motorcycle trip with 6 bikes. The check-in was really smooth and the clerk was especially friendly and even put cones out for us to reserve our parking places. How many other motels will do that for you. They had some rags for us to use to clean our bikes. The rooms were very large and backed up to the river. The rooms were very clean and well maintained with good beds and nice and quiet. They even have a sitting area with an electric fireplace and a back porch that overlooks the river. Nice walking area along the river behind the motel. They also have a hot tub and several barbeque grills. The breakfast in the morning was very nice with a good selection and the great staff was there to make sure everything was filled and cleaned up. I can't say enough about the outstanding staff who really go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. We will tell all of our friends about this great motel. Thanks again for the great stay.

We stayed 4 nights at the Hot Springs Inn during the 1st week of October. We used it as a home base while photographing the changing fall colors in the Ouray area. We loved the location on the river...very soothing. We opted for a 2-bed room on the 2nd floor above the river. The beds were comfortable and warm. Fridge and microwave worked well for us. The room was neat and clean, and all the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! One of the maintenance workers took a few minutes to direct us to a really great place that afforded some spectacular photos. The Wi-Fi is a little slow, but we found that to be true in all hotels in the more rural areas...we were grateful to have it! We'll definitely return, and would recommend it to anyone traveling in the area! Great place for the price at this time of year!

We stayed 4 nights here. We loved having the king sized beds for our family of 4. Checkin was a breezy. All the staff we meet were very friendly and ready to answer any questions. The breakfast was not much but met our needs. Our boys loved the "fireplace" as we used it for a nightlight. The hot tubs we enjoyable but 105 is just too hot for us and our kids. When in need of a place to stay in Ouray, we will stay here again for sure.

My wife and I stayed here in late September, on a trip from Grand Junction to Durango. Very nice rooms, great staff! Loved the spot right on the river. Hot tubs were kept spotless and were conveniently located mid-property. The staff's suggestion on dinner spots and waterfalls to view were spot on! Would stay here again, particularly if you want to "stage" for an early morning trip over US 550 into Silverton and Durango.

Room Tip: We enjoyed the first floor, and all rooms face the river. I doubt you can go wrong in any room here...

The staff are friendly & helpful. The rooms are super comfortable with fireplaces (not real but definitely add to the ambiance of the room). The rooms & kitchen for breakfast we're clean. My daughter & I love the river walk! We will definitely return!

We liked the location on the river, the property itself, our balcony and the easy access to the walking trail. We liked the friendly check-in service and the effort they made to show us several rooms. We did not need two king size beds and opted for the ADA room on the ground floor to have more floor space. The room was clean. The fridge and microwave worked out well for us. We did not like the very heavy bedspread. The phony fireplace is just a light source. We definitely would have preferred a real table to go with the two office chairs instead of a coffee table as the room has no desk. The TV was an older model, the Wi-Fi worked just so-so.
The hot tube we used was definitely not hot. The small breakfast area was too crowded, so we waited until most guests were done, the choices were typical 'continental', but had a great granola cereal.
Most disappointing was that we were told that no one would stay above us, but two 'runners' stayed in that room and all their commotion came right through the ceiling. Coming to find out in the morning they were booked into that room before we ever showed up and made our choice.
Overall I found our room too dated and too impractical and would try another place the next time we are in Ouray.

The Hot Springs Inn offers incredible value in the beautiful town of Ouray! The rooms are large and very clean with very comfortable king beds and a small balcony over the river. As a photographer visiting for the fall color as well as for hiking and just enjoying the scenery, this Inn was centrally located to the areas my husband and I wanted to visit as well. Perhaps even more impressive to us was the friendly, professional staff at Hot Springs Inn. They truly went out of their way to make sure that they did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. I'm not sure that we have stayed anywhere that compares with Hot Springs Inn in that regard. Sharon C

Room Tip: Second floor rooms offer a great view of the river.
