“Loved this place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 January 2009

We stayed at the Hot Springs Inn this past December because the other place we had booked in Ouray, wasn't what we had expected. This place was wonderful. The rooms were very comfortable. Everything was spotless. The manager/owner (?) was so nice and helpful. And every room has a balcony overlooking a small river. How peaceful! The price was amazing. We would recommend this place to anyone, and will stay there again if we're ever back in Ouray.

Fantastic. This was my favorite hotel while on a 3 week trip across 16 states. I actually stayed an extra day, I enjoyed it so much. 2 king beds, real comfrter, real pillows (4) per bed, fridge, micro, coffee, ceiling fan, gas fireplace, and balcony looking over creek. Very homey, very comfortable, great staff, clean, and a pretty decent location - just outside of town, but by far the best place to stay. oh yeah, $80! bargain. i was so tired from riding 5000 miles at this point, this place rejuvinated me. a little comfort of home goes a long way. I HIGHLY recommend. Wish I could remember the ladies name at the desk. she was a sweetheart too!

  • Liked — VERY COMFORTABLE - homey
  • Disliked — if it would have been in town and came with a massuese, it would have been perfect!

We were travelling with two American friends who were showing us their country. We travelled from Arizona and were nearly at the end of our three weeks of touring, staying at hotels, motels and condos. We rated this amongst the best and value for money it was the very best.

The situation was lovely and the rooms so colourful and comfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast and the welcoming drinks.
The town was delightful and along with other places the american welcome could not be faulted. This would be a regular stopping place if we lived in the USA and not England.

This hotel was just a perfect stay. The rooms are large and each one opens up to the river. The staff is really nice. It is just on the outside of town, so that is nice too. Very quite...enough to "hear" the river flowing. Even the fake fireplace gave us the ambiance of a perfect fall evening...thank you so much.

  • Liked — large clean rooms on the river.
  • Disliked — the rooms were long and narrow, but necessary to get each one with a river view

My fiance and I stayed here this past weekend. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. The rooms were very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The beds are huge and so comfortable. The weather didn't want to cooperate but we were able to soak in the hot tubs for about 15 minutes. This is the best place to stay in Ouray. The staff was friendly and helpful (lent us a corkscrew to open our wine, helped with directions) and even let us check out a bit late. We are excited to go back again! Definitely stay here if you have the chance, you won't be disappointed.

This was our first time to stay at Hot Springs Inn- I believe it's about 4 years old- it wasn't there the last time we were in Ouray- very nice room with 2 king beds, nice balcony overlooking small river/stream- enjoyed having microwave and refrig-
if you need a bathtub you will be disappointed but we're fine with just a shower- saw someone in outdoor hottub but it was too cold outside for us to use it- it's a long walk from downtown since it's on the outskirts on north end of town- breakfast was adequate- nice place- will definitely stay there again
