Gold Belt was a perfect place to sit outside, have a cold beer, and some of the best pizza I have ever had. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed a gluten free pizza and burger on July 4th this year. Both were delicious! The servers were attentive, and apologetic when they ran out of the appropriate glassware for a beer (the 4th of July crowd meant a busy service day - water glass turned beer glass is fine by me, especially after a day exploring the town).

This may be a place that's better suited for lunch or dinner, definitely more of a drinking place. We tried it for breakfast and it was disappointing. First, the waitress spoke virtually no English so even communicating the simple order was difficult. I had to repeat my order at least 4 times. A simple "two eggs scrambled, no toast, side order of fruit" was excruciatingly hard to get across. After thinking the order was placed, she asked how the eggs were to be prepared. For the 4th time. I asked for sausage, not bacon. Guess what she brought. Bacon. Had to wait for the sausage. Eggs were overcooked, hard. The fruit was downright disgusting — when that finally came. Everything was like pulling teeth. The strawberries, for example, in the alleged fruit cup, were almost grey in color, and limpid! Yuck, to say the least.

Vowed never to return, and two weeks later, made sure to go across the street for breakfast. If you're hungry for a decent breakfast, avoid this cafe and check out other, neighboring cafes.

This is the second time we ate at Gold Belt. This time we sat inside which was just as delightful. WE happen to order the same thing too. It was perfect the first time. The chicken avocado wrap wasn't as good as before. Too much lettuce and just didn't have the same balance of flavors as before. The pizza was really good. Great crust and perfect toppings. We thought we would have left-overs, but ate it all! The staff, as before, was friendly and efficient. Young people that show they care and always have a smile on their face. It was a very pleasant experience!

Good food for family diners, dependable fare. Service suffers sometimes because of # of visitors to the town in summer but we did take out to avoid the wait at the table. Nice folks, good food, kids will like it as well as adults. Can dine outside with a gorgeous view of the mountains too!
