We stayed at the Best Western in Ouray, CO. The hotel was very nice. We stayed in a queen size room that was not big enough to walk through if we had our suitcases open. We were very disappointed thinking that a queen size room would be bigger than an average room. Were we wrong. They would not change us to a regular room with 2 double beds without a $50.00 charge extra. Very disappointing! Check it out, queen doesn't always mean bigger. It was the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. We booked online so we didn't get to see the room before we paid.

Room Tip: Look at the rooms before you pay.

The rooms were very nice. The veiw from room was wonderful! The town is charming with alot to do. The most facinating part of our stay was the most wonderful breakfast they served every morning. The man and wife that cooked and served the breakfast were very courteous and friendlly. This was by far the best breakfast in all the hotels we stayed in on our 3 week vacation.I would highly encourage anyone that is looking to stay in Ouray to give Twin Peaks a try You won't regret it.

Courteous, helpful staff, good value, providing inside and outside hot springs. The breakfast is outstanding with a chef ready to make fresh omelettes and every thing you could want in a full breakfast. Jeep rentals at office.

Everything is first class here...the pool, hot tubs, the rooms, the hot breakfast etc. We extended our stay after the first night because we enjoyed it so much...walking distance to everything in Ouray, lots of parking, and friendly help too.....

We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel was great, the pool was amazing and the chef and his sweet wife make a mean breakfast!

Room Tip: We are a family of six and our room had 2 double beds and bunk beds too - that was a great option!

The rooms/beds were very comfortable. The room was very quiet (I live in a national forest, so any traffic noise affects my sleep). The breakfasts were execptional and hot (custom omlettes, waffles with whipped cream and strawberries, biscuits and gravey, hot sausage, scrambled eggs, cereal, etc). Guido really treats his customers wonderfully. The pools were warm (No need to go anywhere else). Hanna, the hotel Golden Retriever, added to the fun.

We just keep coming back! This was our third trip to Ouray staying at the B/W and we can't wait to return. In addition to the breathtaking scenery while sitting in the hot springs or on the benches just outside every guest room door, the included breakfast was amazing! Just about anything you could want to eat for breakfast was available. The omelet chef and kitchen staff were so friendly and welcoming every morning. (We stayed for 6 days.) You could eat outside or inside, all cleanliness was well maintained, and the homemade buttermilk biscuits were delightful! The rooms were comfortable, especially the beds with their pillow top mattresses. There is so much to do in Ouray - offroading, hiking, relaxing, fishing, shopping, eating, nature watching, and more. This property is about three blocks from town and we enjoyed our daily walk to and from town for dinner. There is a good selection of restaurants and are all reasonably priced. The best part of the trip was just enjoying the family without a watch. Another bonus to the place were the hot beverages and popcorn available all day by the front desk. If you choose to stay there you will not be dissappointed.

Room Tip: We were on the second floor. I don't think there is a bad room in the hotel.
