I reserved this hotel (motel) because higher-rated ones weren't available the weekend I was in Ouray--next time I'll know not to worry about the others and just go back here. It was perfect for the price, area, pools and nice owners.

The rooms are standard late 20th century motel rooms, but with lots of towels folded nicely, comfy comforters, clean and waters in the frig. They used what they've got and make it as nice as possible. For about the minimum you expect to pay at any decent hotel, this was more than adequate.

We'd intended to pay to get into the hot springs pool, but this hotel has two springs right there. Done! In the morning, a cheery, efficient woman makes eggs to order. We went down the street for drinks the night before, but the tiki bar area looked inviting.

Set up against the beautiful box canyon, this place does it all, at a great price and with a smile. Seriously, don't overthink it and just book the room, already!

Room Tip: Upper floors might be the quieter as the buildings are older and make some noise when people walk ab...

After 12 days on the motorcycle this place was a godsend. After checking out other lodging I took a chance and called Twin Peaks. What I found was that they were the most reasonable price. They're hot spring pool, grotto and spa are legitimate. Not heated cold water like some. Parking was plentiful. They had a laundry. My wife could walk to town. They were spectacularly clean, and on top of that you received a full hot breakfast with omelets to order. What more could I ask for.

Room Tip: Clean, quiet, comfortable and a pleasure to find a place so accommodating without the usual acceptin...

Spent a long weekend at Ouray with friends. Twin Peaks Lodge offered a great room and a great base to see the beauty around Ouray. The hot springs are on site with a heated pool as well as two spas, one indoor and one outdoor. They are open 24 hours so whenever you return from sightseeing we were able to soak in the spring or take a dip in the pool. Breakfast was included and quite good. Great location to walk into Ouray. Will be back!

Stayed several days. Very comfortable property with the wonderful amenities of heated outdoor pool and enclosed hot springs spa building. They have a dedicated breakfast room but because they are cooking omelets to order, it could benefit from better ventilation. Eating outdoors is a good option. I also found some moldy bread. But it is a very popular perk and adds great value. I loved the honest sign stating that taking more than 4 slices of bacon is excessive!
It is very dog friendly and we enjoyed meeting these well behaved guests on the common area out front
Wifi was strong.
We had room 123 which was well situated and very spacious. 2 queen beds, desk, easy chair. Separate vanity area. Refrigerator.
Easy walk to the Box Canyon Falls trailhead Also easy walk to Main Street of town but is very slightly uphill and made me a little breathless the first time, to my surprise
Very agreeable stay

Room Tip: Room 123 was very spacious and the entry, although along a row, was at the end and had its own littl...

I have stayed in many hotels in Ouray over the years - this was BY FAR the best hotel experience I have had in Ouray. The staff is excellent - other hotel guests were extremely friendly - the hot springs pool and jacuzzi were lovely - the newly added ADULTS ONLY hot springs hot tub was super nice and very relaxing. They have a wonderful little patio and bar area for food and drinks. The complimentary hot morning buffet was delicious. The attention to detail in the rooms and everywhere on the grounds was superb ! All this and we were able to bring our puppy as well (most pet friendly hotels are not this clean and well kept) - I will be raving about this place for a long time and recommending it to everyone I know. This is my new hotel of choice in Ouray !!

Room Tip: Be very specific if you do or do not want a pet friendly room - they have both.

Arguably the best hotel in Ouray, we have stayed here annually since about the early 1980's.
It has had 3 different owners during that span. The current owners have made many upgrades
including an outstanding breakfast building free to those staying at the hotel. "Guido" even
makes omelettes, something not often found in free breakfasts. The Hot Springs pools, both
indoor and outdoor are wonderful, and the swimming pool is kept at a very warm 90 degrees or
so. There has been an outdoor bar added with food choices to purchase with the drinks. My
only caveat is that the facility has been catering increasingly to younger, sometimes louder
drinking crowds, and the noise sometimes goes on too late. The previous owners catered
more to the needs of families with strict closing times for the pools. Also the office hours used
to be longer. Still, rooms are extremely well appointed and very clean, and our stay this time
was amazing.

Room Tip: Booking on the internet saves a considerable amount, over 25%.

We stayed at Twin peaks 5 nights everything was great but the best was Chef Guido , He and his wife I think, did a wonderful job on Breakfast. Cooked to order omelettes, Applewood smoked bacon,Homemade biscuits and gravy, Scrambled eggs, Fruit, Cereal, Toast , Bagels and more that I didn't have room for on my plate. A great way to start your day. The housekeeping staff gave us more towels than we could use. the beds were very comfortable and had at least seven pillows on each bed. We will definitely stay here next year when we return to Ouray. Gary
