“Nice Asian ambiance with good food and great service”
Reviewed 1 November 2013

This restaurant is owned by James (chef) and Charlene, with great support from a professional and pleasant waitress named Carol. They owned it years ago and then sold it, to people who ran it into the ground. It is great to have them back, with their pleasant, old-fashioned charm (a welcoming bow from James is not uncommon). The food is good and the ambiance lovely. The menu items cover Cantonese, Szechuan, Thai and Korean. For a special occasion or a private gathering, they will take excellent care of you in their side room. We are regulars and admirers.

“Not worth it.”
Reviewed 22 January 2013 via mobile

The food wasn't awful but it was tasteless. Tom Kah Gai was a good sized portion and had mushrooms, bamboo shoots and lots of tender chicken. That said, it still had no flavor. There was no hint of lemongrass and while I found a slice of (what I believe to have been)ginger in my soup, there was no flavor from that either. The Pad Thai was similar in that it had NO flavor. A bit of heat and the texture of the tofu was nice, however too few bean sprouts, barely any evidence of egg or cilantro and the noodles had been hanging around for some time. All of that could have been overlooked if the dish had had any flavor whatsoever.

“won't be back”
Reviewed 19 August 2012

We eat various Asian cuisines frequently, and are pretty easy to please. The Thai dishes we tasted at this restaurant were terrible. In particular, the Thai Fried Rice was almost inedible. The ginger pork was also mediocre at best.

“A very pleasant surprise!”
Reviewed 19 July 2012 via mobile

We've avoided this restaurant for years as it was not very appealing from 160. What a wonderful surprise when ate there for the first time last week. Have gone back & It has now become our favorite Oriential restaurant in Pagosa Springs.

“" Positively Divine"”
Reviewed 8 July 2012

I have eaten here several times, and the food is wonderful.Carol is the waitress who always helps me, and she is so friendly. I really enjoy talking to her. My wife recently accompanied me and also loved it.The owner's have been around Pagosa for 22 years and really know how to cook all sorts of Asian cusines. They offer excellent Thai, Korean, and Chinese in a pleasant atmosphere. This is by far the best Asian restaurant in Pagosa Springs.
