We spent a night here during the music festival and there were pluses and minuses. The motel is dated, including the rooms, and the balcony to our room was old and not inviting. However, the hosts were very nice and helpful, the price was right, and they had a decent breakfast. I give it a four rating because of the hosts and the price.

The motel is convenient if you're heading up to William Creek Reservoir and the National Forest. It's a bit outside of the Pagosa downtown area. I would stay here again.

My mum used to say you get what you pay for. Well she was wrong! This is an excellent hotel with extremely welcoming hosts. We were automatically allocated an upstairs room, which had a balcony and a larger bathroom but we asked to have a downstairs room because we had a lot of luggage and there isn't a lift (elevator). The room was clean and well-furnished. We were right at the end of the corridor nearest the road but the traffic noise was minimal. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. In addition to a TV, microwave and refrigerator there was a dining table with two chairs. I have paid much more at other hotels for much less!

Room Tip: If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room further away from the road (the building is at right-angles to the road).

I spent one night here and was quite pleased. The property is an old Super 8 and John and Sophie took this motel over four or so years ago, and say that much needs to be done. Perhaps - the exterior is not the greatest, but they have created a warm and hospitable establishment, with thoughtful touches in decor. They genuinely appreciate the patronage. I mentioned that I had been having medical problems on my trip and was told that if I needed help to call them at any hour of the night and they would drive me to the hospital. That was not necessary, but certainly left me impressed.

Older motel, but well maintained. The owner was friendly, and took care to keep the morning food stocked. Very small breakfast area, but it was clean and did have a couple of small tables. you can also sit in the adjacent lobby.

Room was clean and everything worked fine. Conveniently located next to the main road through town.

Not luxury accoms, but they have thought of everything! Perfect service from start to finish. Very comfortable rooms. Excellent value. Pet, family and biker friendly. Hosts know the area intimately and make great suggestions. Just the right amount of friendliness and respectfulness. They obviously love their job and their newly adopted home town. We will be back.
