“Awesome choke cherry syrup”
Reviewed 19 June 2014

Try the Hot Chicks Hot Cakes with their chock cherry syrup, but ask them to leave off some of the mountains of whipped cream. It is a real treat. The breakfast sandwich is also good. I had mine on toasted sourdough, my wife had hers on a croissant.

They also serve a decent cup of coffee and a coffee drink they call "The Big Train." (the brand name for the company that makes the drinks/mixes)

“Great food, cheap prices”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

A great little restaurant, on the west side of town. Only disadvantage is that it's quite a distance from downtown Pagosa Springs. But, we stopped here on the way west, so it was on our way. Had a great breakfast. Couldn't believe the prices.

“Very good breakfast and great latte”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

Loved the hippie breakfast. Eggs and sausage was excellent and the portions were just right. It came with 2 buttermilk pancakes that were light and fluffy. A great value. I also tried one of their cinnamon rolls which was also a winner. The staff were friendly and attentive. Of course I bought the T-Shirt. Cool place.

“Great Breakfasts, Chai & Coffee”
Reviewed 6 June 2014

We HAD to eat here due to the great name. 2 Chicks & a Hippie was a pleasant surprise. Packed on the weekend, there is a wait. My friend had a platter of food including the biscuits & gravy, (the gravy had CHUNKS of ham in it), bacon, eggs and hash browns. As the name would indicate, there's the healthier side of the menu too, fruits, muffins, wheat grass shots, etc. I had a LARGE bowl of homemade yogurt with fresh blueberries & granola, a thick slice of Ezekiel bread and a large chai. There were sandwiches on the menu as well. The people are just as nice as can be, but they are short staffed. However, your patience will be rewarded. There are 3 lg booths, 2 four tops, 3 double tops & a breakfast bar overlooking a nice porch. It is a cute little place. I advise getting there early as I overheard staff apologize several times to customers for being out of something, usually pastries. The fresh baked sweets go first.

“Delicious breakfast on a quiet Sunday afternoon”
Reviewed 1 June 2014

We stopped at several cafes in Pagosa Springs and they all closed at 1:00 pm on Sunday. Our last resort was going to be pizza if 2 Chicks and a Hippie was closed, too. Fortunately for us they were still serving at just after 2:00 pm and we could order lunch or breakfast. I loved the biscuits and sausage gravy combo meal and my friend was very impressed with his breakfast sandwich on a croissant. The servier was excellent. She was helpful explaining the portions (I didn't want too many biscuits and gravy) every thing was very fresh and cooked to perfection. We will definitely have more meals there before our week in Pagosa Springs is over.
