“Beautiful!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 June 2014

Unfortunately when we were able to stop at Treasure Falls, it was raining too hard to hike up closer. It did provide a very nice view from the parking lot though. The fall was beautiful and we will have to catch it again another time to hike up closer. It is nice though for those that cannot hike to know that they can still get a wonderful view. We also enjoyed watching the chipmunks while taking in the view.

“Worth talking the walk up to.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 May 2014

Short hike, all up hill but not that bad of a hike. You can get pretty close to the falls. There is a bench to sit on once you get up to the Falls. During a light run off year you can sit on the bench for pictures. During a heavy run off you will get wet sitting on that same bench. During the hot summer days you may want to wade in or hike the the creek below the falls. If you visit in the winter the Falls freeze. It is a beautiful sight to see. No hiking up in the winter but still worth seeing. There used to be a restroom at the parking lot to the Falls but it was removed. Even though it is a short hike, still bring drinking water. There is a trail off to the main trail to the right that is a nice side walk, not very long.

“Truly a Treasure in Pagosa!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 May 2014

Don't miss a visit to Treasure Falls if you are visiting the Pagosa Springs/Wolf Creek area. You can see the waterfall from the road, but it pales in comparison to seeing it up close and personal. The hike is pretty easy and very well worth it. Don't forget to bring your camera for some breathtaking memories!

“Beautiful, reasonable climb”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 May 2014

beautiful falls can be seen from the parking lot but take the time to make the climb if you can. the hardest part of the uphill walk is the first 2 switchbacks, after that things get more level and the climb is much easier. i still got winded as i'm used to hiking and walking at or below sea level and the altitude takes it's toll but i had no problem making it to the top, just stopped at a couple of the nicely placed benches along the way.

a very few stairs and an all dirt/rocky trail. not ADA accessible, but the view from the parking lot is a nice place to wait for others if you are unable to make the climb
