My girlfriends and I love this place for GNO because the food is good, the staff is welcoming and they are willing to give separate checks, even splitting the cost of a bottle of wine if you ask. Because they do not take reservations and are so popular, you need to come early – certainly before 5 p.m. on weekends and holidays – to get in without a wait (and to be seated in the comfortable booths).
Our ladies group likes to share one of the two bread appetizers, and then enjoy a pasta dish and/or pizza -- usually shrimp fettuccini and the three-cheese pizza. The small pizzas are so large that they easily feed two. The entrees (e.g., pasta, not pizza) come with a delicious salad in a large wooden salad bowl you toss and serve yourself. Manager Mark is a very visible presence, circulating among the tables to be sure everyone is well taken care of. He’s also responsible for the unique margaritas they serve. Server Courtney always takes good care of us.
