This place is amazing! Nestled in the beautiful San Juan river valley, the scenery is spectacular. The cabins are nicely furnished and extremely clean. This is the cleanest place I've stayed in 36 years of traveling. And as a mother of 2, that means alot. No detail was overlooked in terms of safety and convenience. We especially appreciated all the little things from the picnic tables near the river to the fire pit for making s'mores and the activity tent with games and outdoor activities for the kids. Overall just an amazing place to stay in Pagosa Springs and a place we'll come back to for many years to come.

What a great place. This is a lovely spot right on the river that's perfectly dog friendly as well. We grabbed our glasses of wine and walked down to the banks of the San Juan river (on property) and enjoyed the sounds of nature. Our only complaint would have been from our cabin (right by the office) there was a little street noise from the highway. But it wasn't enough to deter us from opening the windows allowing the crisp mountain air to soothe us to sleep. Fireside Inn and Pagosa Springs has definitely not seen the last of us and we'd definitely recommend!

Room Tip: Ask for a cabin closer to the river to be set back a little from the highway noise.

The Inn was lovely. The cabins were very nice, had plenty of room, and were nicely furnished. We had a cabin by the river and were able to sit out and enjoy it and relax. Our dog was very welcome, complete with his own doggie bag with towels and bedding! He loved the river and even visited the horses in the corral. We hope to go back.

Nearly every time we have traveled to Pagosa Springs, we stay here. The cabins are cute and well appointed in a very woodsy cabin feel. They have Christmas tree lights on the trees that make it so festive here. The cabins are very comfortable -- we always get the cabin with two bedrooms, one that has bunk beds. The couch also folds out for additional sleeping. I will say that some of the cabins are close to the highway so you do hear traffic. This doesn't bother us because we play music. There are cabins closer to the river, so you do have that option. The folks who run Fireside are wonderful and quite friendly. We're going back next month!

It was our first time to book a cabin with Fireside Inn Cabins and we were pleasantly surprised. The cabin was perfect, had everything we needed and was clean. The bed was comfy and the kitchen was supplied with all things needed to prepare a meal. The river was a peaceful place to relax and enjoy nature. The hot tub was spotless and a great spot to soak away a day of exploring. The owners were very friendly and have a resort to be proud of.....everything was in tip top shape. We had the cabin near the road and had no problems with road noise...slept like a rock!
If you want a cute cabin, in a peaceful setting give Fireside Inn a try....you will love it!

We loved the Fireside Cabins. We wanted to get away for a few days and this was just what we needed! They are conveniently located just outside Pagosa. We took the advice of one reviewer and got on the river to avoid some of the highway noise. We stayed in #108 which was a one bedroom on the river. As we got out of the truck we were greeted by masses of beautiful Cosmos flowers! The landscaping was gorgeous. The cabins were adorable and very clean! I must say the one bedrooms only have a space saver type of kitchen which was next to impossible to cook in due to all of our 'stuff'. Next time we will probably rent the two bedroom to get the bigger kitchen but if you dont plan on cooking the smaller kitchen is do-able. They are very pet friendly, unfortunately other visitors dont always keep their big dogs on leashes and that presents a few surprises. The seating by the river is lovely. If you have horses, they have a great set of corrals and trails a short trailering distance away. We ate at Boss Hoggs in town and it was good. The Bakery not far from the cabins is wonderful!! Heads up though on the smell in town from the hot springs! Will definitely put this on our list of places to stay again.

Room Tip: Cabins on the river are quieter and two bedrooms have the bigger kitchen.

We loved the fireside cabins. We rented four cabins for week in July. We had both one and two bedroom cabins. The cabins were spotless and well decorated. These owners have vision, beautiful landscaping, and great seating areas by the San Juan river. great times were had on the porches of our cabins. Bring your tubes. It was so much fun. You can fish there too. Climb the treasure falls, go to the hot springs, drive to Silverton, then on to ouray. Lots to do. Owners of fireside are the nicest and hardest working owners of any resort I have ever stayed. We will be back.

Room Tip: Bring jackets and rain gear. Get up early to see deer at river.
