“Amazing B&B with Amazing Hosts”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

Girlfriend and I recently spent Friday and Saturday night at V&V B&B. Donna and Felix absolutely make this place. They are the most welcoming couple you could possibly imagine. Breakfast was amazing. Rooms were nice and clean (we stayed in Buona Sera). The grounds were perfect. We were able to sit on their lovely patio and enjoy a bottle of wine at night. They are also a close 100 yard walk to Maison la Belle Vie Winery which has a wonderful ambiance to it.

My boyfriend and I went here in the summer for a weekend getaway, and this was the perfect place to stay! Our room and bathroom were both clean and fairly large. Donna and Felix were so helpful with recommendations on wine tasting, restaurants, and outdoor activities. We even drove over to Grand Junction (which is about a 15 minute drive) to see a minor league baseball game, on their recommendation. It was a blast! Donna and Felix were fantastic hosts and made the most delicious breakfasts (the French toast is great!) Overall, we had a great time and we will definitely be back to Vistas and Vineyards!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Buona Sera and loved how quiet and tucked away it was.

My husband brought us here for my birthday. This was a great place to stay, and the location was beautiful. The room and bathroom had plenty of space. Donna and Felix were fabulous hosts and helpful with recommendations of local restaurants for dinner. Breakfast was delicious. Overall, it was a very nice birthday weekend.

We definitely enjoyed our stay with Donna and Felix! Great hospitality; breakfast was delicious each morning; good recommendations on what to see in Palisade as well as telling us about a delicious pizza place in Grand Junction, the Hot Tomato, with live music, to check out. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Palisade!

We spent parts of four days and three nights cared for by Donna and Felix. From outstanding dinner and winery recommendations, to delightful breakfasts we could not have asked for a better concierge. This B&B is centrally located to everything we wanted to see including the Grand Mesa, wineries, and our exploration of Grand Junction. Donna also directed us to several hidden gems we would have never found on our own. We hope to make this an annual trip.

Donna and Felix are such wonderful hosts. We had a less than stellar trip across the Rockies-(think early season snow storm and Vail Pass backups)-and Donna called a few times to check on our progress. Even with our untimely 3am arrival Felix was nice enough to not only leave a light on, but stayed up waiting for us! No hint of frustration, just a warm welcome from him and his wife.

Breakfast was excellent and my friends and I enjoyed using Vistas and Vineyards as our home base as we biked the area wineries. It's very close to Grand Junction and Fruita so the next time I come out biking I'll probably just pass on the typical hotel and stay somewhere that's a lot more welcoming.

I'll be back!

We stayed 2 nights here during the weekend of the Tour of the Moon in Grand Junction. Donna and Felix were beyond accommodating when our arrival was delayed by 5 extra hours due to a shut down on I-70 from an accident during the snowstorm. Donna called a couple times to check on us and Felix was outside to greet us at the insane hour of 3:30 am!
Despite our less than ideal arrival, our first morning in Palisade was off to a great start with yummy coffee, fruit soup, waffles, fresh fruit, and more! **Breakfast the next day was in incredible smoked salmon topped fritatta, herb roasted tomatoes, and fresh fruit.
Felix and Donna had lots of recommendations for places to eat and which routes to take on our bikes to visit the many wineries that were all within 4 miles of the house. Two of these wineries are actually walking distance from the house!
We really enjoyed the charming touches of the wine barrel bicycle parking station and backyard Bocce Ball court.
We highly recommend Vistas & Vineyards!
