Looking for good Asian food in Grand Junction can be challenging so we considered The Red Rose in Palisades Co. Just a short drive up valley to a cool little town that time forgot. Palisades is well know for its wonderful produce so we figured what the hell lets give it a try. The Red Rose in a combo restaurant with both Vietnamese and Italian food. Being the Asian food nut I settled on Vietnamese. we had a couple of orders of the spring rolls with lettuce wrap and they were really good!! Half our group had Italian, Chick Parm & Salmon steak the others had Viet noodle dishes and I had the Beef Pho. the soup was wonderful and came with all the add on's you see in Vietnam. We all enjoyed our meals, the service and Palisades. Only neg. was the fat tire beer was not very cold!! I would go back again!!

I have never been so grossed out in my life. The restaurant is filthy and we had to hold our breath every time our server came over because he smelled so bad. 3 out of 4 of us had stomach aches as soon as we left. Do NOT go there!

We were in Palisade for 5 months due to work and ate at the Red Rose Cafe several times including at Thanksgiving and Christmas Day Lunch. We were very happy with the meals each and every time and the couple and their children were outstanding. The restaurant is well worth a trip if you're passing through or staying for a while in the area. The atmosphere is very nice. Don't forget to pull the door shut when entering or leaving. :o)

title says it all. This restaurant is not clean where you eat, I would hate to see where they cook. The music was loud and obnoxious and honestly the food was just awful.

Returning to the Red Rose for the first time literally since it opened several years ago, we were surprised to find it had lost not only it's Italian menu, but weren't WOWed by the Vietnamese cuisine as expected. It was very hot and the ceiling fans weren't on? The heat clearly was wearing on the staff. On the up side, the food was decent and portions were "take home" generous. I really enjoyed the wall décor having gallery of pieces with a San Franciscan flare.
