“Beautiful Wedding”
Reviewed 27 September 2013

Our family attended a family member's wedding September 2013. They informed us that everything was on site. The chapel was a short walk from the parking. The reception center was a good size, well decorated and the food was very good. The bride told us they were staying in the rooms at the inn across from the reception hall. The packages, she said included everything. I thought it was wonderful. Great picture locations too. I will recommend that other couples check out this location. You feel isolated, but it's a convenient location.

Wonderful place setting for a wedding, we organised via emails to Maria & the team who were so helpful & no hitches on the day! I am fortunate to have family members who did visit the location before we booked & the website is informative enough. We booked the 'lodge' as only 40 ish guests & didn't want to feel lost in the larger chapel/events centre. We had the main family to stay over in the lodge so our whole day was contained there which was great, excellent food & we did our own music/disco for the evening. Would easily recommend for anyone looking for a venue around Colorado!

Room Tip: The lodge has a mixture and the only area with bedrooms, all nice.

We just did a double wedding weekend at The Historic Pinecrest. My sister on the Saturday and my brother on the Sunday. This really was the perfect location. Only about 10 min drive off the I-25, but surrounded by mountains, green fields and so much beauty it made me want to cry. It has a chapel, an event center big enough to fit a large crowd and the 9 room lodge all within a couple of minutes walking distance of each other. The staff was quick to respond when I called to tell the runner on the stairs was coming out. They were also very kind to mail me an item that they found while cleaning that I had left behind. Oh and the wildlife! We saw several deer on the grounds and at least one coyote. This is in the mountains, so there are also bear and mountain lion in the area. We didn't see any of that though. To sum up, even if you don't end up using this place, go and check it out. You won't regret it!
