beautiful location and totally at one with nature - love that it was made with love for the planet and is a totally self contained retreat. Retreat is an appropriate name for Billabong. From the minute you arrive you forget the outside world and all your troubles. Food is amazing, accommodation is basic but comfortable. Loved it and would go back again...

Wow..!!...What a fantastic experience...!!...First of all the location is amazing, overlooking the billabong(it's really a dam but billabong sounds more better)Immediately on arrival and entering the retreat area,I noticed the familiar aroma of Western red cedar(I'm a cabinetmaker/yoga teacher)
The buildings are constructed of WRC...Also the clean, fresh aroma of the bush just cleanses your nostrils on every inhalation....
Mignon the chef...What can I say,she is wonderful and her meals are truly delightful and tasty...
Paul, the owner is a wonderful host and an inspiring yoga/meditation teacher....
The view both mornings from our cabin overlooking the billabong was amazing....The cool mist of the morning leaving teardrops on spiders webs...And not a breath of wind...So still and beautiful...!!....
Not advisable to swim in the billabong....
Paul has done a wonderful job building this fabulous retreat with absolute care for the environment and eco system....
A remote shangri la and only 1 1/2 hours from Manly....We will return...!!
