“Upscale decor without paying a fortume.”
Reviewed 24 October 2011

We were impressed with the size and amenities of our room. I loved the vessel sink and having 2 TVs. Much nicer to watch it relaxed on a sofa and hassock than in bed in the early evening. Hooked my ipod up to the clock radio with the attached cord. As someone else advised, prepay for breakfast at 1/2 price, as it's not really worth $10.50 but definately $5.25.
Bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, make your own waffles, cereal, small Danish, fresh fruit, full size lo-fat yogurt, juices etc. We walked to the Riverwalk and ate at Angelo's pizza on the patio. Would have loved to go into the many antique stores on Union street. One drawback, which I discussed with the manager, is a poorly designed bathroom exhaust fan system. We thought it wasn't working, but apparently it's not a traditional exhaust you can hear and our love of long showers had to be cut short. Windows do open. We parked our motorcycle under the canopy with a view from our room.

Room Tip: I think you can hear the freeway from either the front or the back, as it fairly close. I always pla...

We are pleased that you enjoyed our accommodations during your visit to Pueblo as well as your comments regarding our all you can eat breakfast buffet. Please accept our apologies regarding the exhaust fans in the room as they are designed to be less invasive and noisy. Our exhaust system is a roof top fan unit providing consistent and constant exhaust with no fan noise.

We hope you get a chance to visit Pueblo again soon and thank you again for your comments.

We spent 2 nights in this extremely comfortable hotel on our recent 3 week tour of CA, AZ, UT and CO. We hated to leave this hotel, it was so comfortable. We had a suite with 2 large televisions. There was both Wi-Fi and a hard Internet connection on the desk, a gorgeous, ample bathroom with very modern fixtures, and the lights in the desk area were on dimmers! The hotel is centrally located to downtown Pueblo (which, by the way, is a very attractive, older American city with great history and wonderfully preserved turn of the century buildings located on very wide, tree-lined streets) and we had a great time exploring this city.

We stayed one night, in town for the Chile & Frijole Festival. Location was great for walking to the festival, only a couple minutes walk.

We arrived mid-afternoon and they kindly allowed an early check-in. Our room was on the top/fourth floor, facing the town (not the highway). Although there was a little bit of street night noise coming through, it didn't seem loud enough to keep us awake. The neighbors kids' yelps and screams during the afternoon were more annoying, but those died down into the evening hours.

The room was clean and the bed was a great rest; plenty of pillows and the mattress and linens were very comfortable.

Evening cocktails in the lobby bar were good, and some were discounted during happy hour. The lobby also has computers to check your mail.

We pre-paid for the next-morning breakfast buffet, as it was less than paying the morning of. We enjoyed good coffee, self-made waffles, eggs and potatoes and even Kashi cereal.

Staff were all helpful and friendly. The pool and gym looked nice, but we didn't partake this time.

Stayed for multiday business trip here: very pleasant atmosphere, great beds and pillows! you actually feel refreshed in the morning. very clean. The suite lay out, with separate sofa/work station and separate bed area, is very functional: nice computer/work desk, with all the electronic plugins you need. Nice coffee selection for the coffee maker, and super functional bathroom.
It feels like a mini home away from home. Work out room good, a small pool but functional for a mini swim. nice spa. No noise from highway.
Overall one of the best hotels if I have stayed in! ( I favor Cambria over Marriott in Pueblo)

Best stop on our way from Montana back to Texas. I am usually a Hilton, Westin, Marriott frequent stayer for business but we just need a "one night sleep" economy room when driving across country. Just barely off I-25 this is a newer hotel or extremely well maintained. Very clean, great beds / pillows, great towels and lots of them. Nice big breakfast for less than $10 but not included in the price. We had a top floor room in a corner and it was my best sleep of the trip. Separate sitting area w/ desk, separate TV and good lighting to work, read, etc. Air conditioning worked perfectly; shower had good water pressure and good makeup lighting in the bathroom. Of the 4 one-nighters we had on our drive home, this was the tops.

Room Tip: Top floor in the corner

When our off the grid rental experienced many problems and the local hotels are gouging travellers we decided to stay in Pueblo for the remainder of the week in southern Colorado. The price quality ratio is very good and while they are part of the Choice Hotels it appears that some are independent. This one is located at exit 98B coming from the north on Interstate 25, do not listen to you GPS which will take you an exit early. The hotel is located close to downtown and is litterally at the interstate exit. We were not bothered by the possible noise and/or traffic. The staff was pleasant and addressed one issue during our stay, there was a smell of mildew on the second floor which maybe tied to thte weather. While we never found out the outcome the smell was no longer around when we left. Parking is ample at this location. Again Cambria success shows that there is a niche market for this segment, comfort, somewhat upscale without breaking the bank.

Room Tip: Avoid the room with the late teens number as these are close to the interstate if it bothers you
