Worth the weekly rate. They allow pets. Not a very good part of town. Quite a few homeless people sort of hang out around property. Japanese food right next door very close to Riverwalk. Every day something was broken or there were difficultys but the staff was very helpful and nice so you could deal with things not being perfect. Easy to freeway and shopping.

Room Tip: 2 story. Outside stairs. No elevator. Back corner is quieter. Comfortable bed.

Room was very nice and spacious. It had a fresh clean smell. Shower and TV worked fine. Checkin again they couldn't find reservation, I offered a printout but the guy kept looking for it. He finally found it in June as someone had input it wrong. They didn't have what I ordered but they quickly went to work and prep'd another room. There were lots of people at this place, it felt like they all lived there. It was loud at night outside the door but finally quited down and slept good. Breakfast was bagels in a bag and coffee. Coffee again was great. Pool was still closed.

there were a lot of people just hanging in the parking lot but they all seemed friendly.

Room Tip: Ask for downstairs closer to your car. The A/C's seem to work better downstairs as well.

Was in Pueblo for business for a week and needed an economical motel/hotel with wifi.

Found the Sante Fe Inn on the internet.

When you first pull up it might look a bit run down, but once you get into the parking area you can see an expansive property that isn't bad at all.

Compared to three or four other motels in the downtown Pueblo area that I drove by later, the Santa Fe was certainly the best looking.

The room had a fridge, microwave, desk/chair, recliner chair, bed, and TV with cable (great channel selection including Showtime).

The bathroom was split into two, with the shower/bathtub and toilet in an enclosed room, and the sink out in the main room. That is normal with many of the old motels.

The bathroom had been recently re-tiled, and the sink and countertop were modern and clean.

The wifi performed very well.

The front desk personnel were very, very friendly and helpful, at check in, check out, and every time in between.

One night, it got very, very cold in Pueblo, and the room's heating system was having a hard time keeping up (not the motel's fault, it doesn't usually get that cold). I went down to the front desk and mentioned it. The immediately provided me with a plug-in heater, one of those tall upright ones that spins. They apologized and even offered to bring it up to the room and plug it in.

Housekeeping staff were very, very friendly and thorough.

There was a laundry room for the use of guests (bring your own detergent), provided for free (key card required to enter the room). There was an outdoor pool, which was obviously closed in January.

The motel was 2 doors down from Wendy's, and right across the road from a TacoBel, and a block away from a 24/7 convenience store.

Would stay there again, for sure ! And it was less than a third of the price of what the motels/hotels visible from the Interstate were charging.

My friend made us reservations here for a hockey tournament. There is nothing wrong with the hotel, but it is very old and dated. The wallpaper was peeling and patched (very noticeably) the decor is not pretty but adequate. The bed was not incredibly comfy, but adequate. The room was warm, so we turned on the fan and slept well. It appeared to be a moderately questionable area of town, but we locked the door and I never felt unsafe. It had tv, wifi, a coffee maker and a fridge. The breakfast which was included was bagel and cream cheese, English muffin or doughnuts all yummy and only coffee, no juice or milk or tea. This is a bare basics stay, if you are on the road and saving money and don't care about beautiful surroundings them this us your spot. It was clean and adequate.

Great staff! Excellent value! Quiet, well maintained property. We are 'semi-permanent' residents (been here about 6 weeks, so far) We travel all over the country in our work, and this is one of the best places we have stayed. Tried a couple other places in Pueblo, and this tops them all! Thank you Melissa, Edward, and staff for making us so comfortable!

We had booked a room at the Comfort Inn. That was a BIG MISTAKE! The Comfort Inn was run-down, shabby, dirty, rudely-staffed and overpriced.
The Santa Fe Inn was WONDERFUL! Clean, helpful staff, great location and great price! We will stay here whenever we are in Pueblo!

Room Tip: Perfect location, close to EVERYTHING!

We'd survived cycling through the Great Plains in summer and needed some city R&R. I found this one on the trusty Android and I called to make reserves. We ended up staying three nights. Free laundry! Here's the thing: There are some permanent residents but they were harmlessly curious and friendly. There seemed to be a lot of Hispanic folks who kept to themselves, but were still curious...we arrived on fully loaded bicycles. We were in our room by dark and didn't go back out (too tired). I didn't feel in danger, at any time. The room was clean and we were well taken care of. I don't know if I'd stay there again, but it if not, it wouldn't be because of the room, service, or other guests.

Room Tip: Well, I think maybe I'd try an upper floor and, obviously, away from the road. We were there ov...
