Reviewed 20 July 2014

Came in from WA for a family reunion. Stayed in a condo that slept six with three baths. Nice rustic feel with wood inside and fireplace. The main bedroom was large and clean with a queen bed. The loft was very large with a queen bed that was rock hard and sloped to one corner. There was a couch, chair and nice window seat upstairs. The shower was on the down hill side of the sloped ceiling so the shower head was at face level ( five feet or so ) and you had to really crouch down to wash your hair. If over six feet you will be on your knees. The futon downs stairs was so hard it was like sitting on a bag of dirt no give at all. The kitchen was fine but a few more pans would have been nice. Washer and dryer by the SMALL store. Over all the place was nice but could use a good updating, tightening up of things and deep cleaning. It felt like that nothing had been maintained just fixed good enough to get by. Overpriced for what you get. Staff was very friendly.

Room Tip: Stairs everywhere so be advised." Lodge" rooms are just motel style. NO Lodge.

Seven members of my family stayed at Beaver Meadows Ranch Resort the weekend of June 14 - 16. The accommodations were outstanding. Everything we needed was included in our condo. We ate at the restaurant and had the best food on our trip. Service was fast, food was absolutely delicious and the staff was friendly as well as efficient.

Four of us went on a hour horseback ride and it was such fun!
Can't wait to get back there!

It's been almost a year since the wedding. Not one day goes by that I don't close my eyes and think about the wonderful place. I live in Fort Mohave AZ...DESERT...no green. This place is HEAVEN. We loved the accommodations and the restaurant was great. The wedding by the creek was awesome and the reception hall fantastic. I highly recommend this to any bride looking for a place. We flew into Denver a day early spent the night in Fort Collins then drove to the mountain. I do suggest printing out the map from the website and not rely on your GPS. Also there is a cafe on the way called the Pot Belly. It has great food also.

Room Tip: It's in the mountains with all perfect view ... great back to nature experience...

We took three families to Beaver Meadows for a weekend getaway. The main attraction for us was the snow tubing. SO much fun! There were 18 of us ranging from 3 years old to 50 and everyone loved it! With 9-10 runs it was big enough to keep everyone busy all day but small enough that the kids could do their own thing without us needing to hoover over them the entire time. Staff was fun, friendly and helpful and the weather was beautiful. We reserved 2 condos and one lower lodge room for the weekend. All three were nice and clean but next time we will just get the condos. They are very big and its so nice to have a full kitchen. Can't wait to go back! It was the perfect family get away.

Room Tip: Spend the extra money and rent a condo!

Great weekend. Awesome staff. Very reasonable price. We are planning another trip during this same timeframe next year. I would suggest to call the resort and get a package deal. The condos are very clean and spacious.

This was our second Christmas at Beaver Meadows. We stayed 3 nights in the condo building. It was very comfortable and cozy. Firewood is always cut and available, the condo was very clean, it had a full kitchen (the dishwasher was an added plus as we did lots of our own cooking), three full baths. We love the rustic remoteness of Beaver Meadows. Our favorite is the snow tubing - adults and kids thoroughly enjoyed the tubing. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The office staff goes out of their way to welcome you. We have visited in the summer and appreciate the quiet and relaxed atmosphere. We ate dinner one evening in the restaurant - great food and extremely courteous staff. We highly recommend Beaver Meadows if you are looking for a relaxing escape.

Wow super excited that we found this great escape that offered an adventurous get away that kept the kids busy and active. We went snow tubing, hiking and on a sleigh ride on the beautiful mountain side. I have been searching for a place in Colorado like this for years - a stay and play affordable weekend get away. I believe we have found our new family tradition for Thanksgiving. We played on the ice, in the hall they had a pool table and some games. Not to mention we are planning on going during the summer so we can venture some trails, paddle boat and get some fishing in.

The restaurant food was awesome, the best prime rib and reuben burger I have had in years. Had to have the reuben two days in a row is was so amazing. We stayed in the lodge - walls are pretty thin so that was a downfall but we weren't there to hang out in our room.

The staff were so informative and very eager to share their stories. They have literature in the rooms that tell the history of the ranch, some cool historical pictures in the rooms.

Thank-you for posting your review. We really enjoy the Holiday weekends. Thanksgiving is such a great time with all the winter activities opening.
I did want to reply and let you know that we are planning improvements for our lodge to address the sound proofing. We hope to get them finished this spring and are excited to get this project complete. We will be adding a second solid core door, insulation and other sound proofing steps. If you are thinking about coming next Thanksgiving, I encourage you to book anytime to get the dates over the Holiday that you want.
