“Great winery”

I like that the guy who did our tasting was the actual person making the wine. Great experience, we will definitely be back.

“A hidden jewel in Salida---a very upclose and personal glimpse of wine-making!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 March 2012

While visiting Salida we drove past this quirky pink building with a hand painted sign, and it caught our attention, as we had just left the more polished winery up the road. We were treated to a very hands-on view of the wine-making process, and also had a chance to learn so much about what it takes for a small vintner to market and expand. It was such a treat to meet the creator of the wines, and to sample them. There were some excellent specials going on, and we were also able to purchase a few bottles at very reasonable rates. This is a developing winery, with very creative, motivated people making the wines, and I look forward to visiting again.

“Up and coming winery”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 September 2011

This is a small wine making operation on highway 50 on the west end of Salida. In my frequent tastings, these wines have been getting better and better over the last few years. The warehouse where the wine is made is deceiving, with pinkish sort of Dr. Suess-esque kind of a paintjob on the facade, but there is seating out back and the vintners are friendly and knowledgeable.
