“Swimmig in the Springs”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

My niece and nephew loved this swimming pool so much. They spent many hours in the pool. The pool was very clean and had many things for the children to keep busy.

“Very good swimming pool”
Reviewed 23 June 2014

The pool was clean and nice. Just do not expect a "hot spring" experience. Think public swimming pool. If that is what you expect, you will enjoy it. Cost $14 for swim, towel and locker.

“Nice, neat, modern and clean”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

Hot springs abound in this part of the Mountain State. Salida has a nice, new water usage building with swimming pool and soak tubs inside. I was impressed with the cleanliness and friendly staff. Just the thing to relax....

“Good Option for a Rainy Day”
Reviewed 27 May 2014

This review is based only on the use of the pools, not the private soaking areas. We brought our three grandchildren for a swim. The facility is nice, but a bit smaller than a lot of the Rec Centers in other Colorado cities. It is identical to a public Rec Center swimming pool, just that it is fed with water from a local hot spring. It is not the traditional hot spring experience directly at the hot spring, the water is piped in. There are two pools. A nice lap pool that is at about 75 degrees F (24 degrees C) and a hot water pool with a depth of between 0 and 4 feet. The temperature is about 90 degrees F (32 degrees C). The lap pool has a 1 meter (3.3 feet) diving spring board and an inflatable slide about six feet long and 4 feet wide. It is good for an hour or so swim and great for exercise lap swimming.

The changing facilities are rather small with about 40 lockers (in the male area), 4 shower stalls and a toilet facility. They were clean. You can rent towels and even bathing suits. This is a family oriented facility.

“Not much of a swimmer but the private hot pools are good for a soak”
Reviewed 3 April 2014

Its a regular pool in the large main area, and nothing to grand about it. The private hot pools are affordable, around $10 and hr. Theres just some days you need to relax and this is it after skiing or work. I went thru and made sure it was clean and they clean it spik n span after each customer, else this would not do it for me.
