I was in Tealby and noticed that the Barn has re opened. My Partner and got a warm welcome.
Seeing an ex Kings head chef in house again with his great menu.
Roast lamb and all the trimmings really homemade and Liver and onions on there too.
Doors open to the lovely garden with a drink in hand couldn’t have been better.
If you had been before as we had when it had different owners. I recommend a re visit.
Thanks guys.

Thank Mmmarvelous

Had a lovely meal here today on our way home to York. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough! The guys running it are excited about the future of this newly refurbished restaurant! We will definitely go back soon. Give it a try you won't be disappointed!

Had a superb lunch with family. Roast pork with homemade Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, mash, stuffing and fresh veg. Everything including the apple sauce was delicious. Followed by home made desserts all round and all were tasty and well presented. The service was amazing and I’m very surprised that it wasn’t busier as it totally deserves to be! The dog was also made welcome, but there is a restaurant for those not wanting to be near dogs. Nothing to fault the place. We will be back!

Went there early Saturday night, the place was like a morgue, no atmosphere. Pompous staff like they work in a Michelin restaurant. The draft beer was watered down or just a poor choice, my wife's drink was brought in a glass, nothing left in the bottle?, Not offered ice or lemon slice. The steaks were horrible considering the price, much tastier and cheaper at Vintage Inns. Mine was cold and bland, obviously not chargrilled. Ordered two sauces for £2.75 each, smallest portion I have ever seen. Won't ever go back again, and if I read right that they also manage the other restaurant in Tealby, then it's goodbye to that area of Lincolnshire forever.
