“Nice course”
Reviewed 21 June 2013

A nice moutain course. Played in May 2013 so just coming out of the winter season, so not in pristine condition, but they have some beautiful holes. I can imagine it's a great course to play at the peak of the summer.

“Great views and interesting layout, but greens and bunkers need help”
Reviewed 5 August 2012

This is a challenging mountain course with some spectacular holes. The fairways are well maintained. I thought the greens were in better shape than some of the earlier reviewers, but the bunkers are really sad - it's like hitting off a parking lot. If you can put up with that, however, it's a really neat track.

“Management has Slipped”
Reviewed 27 July 2012

The Raven is the best golf course in Summit County, in my opinion. Unfortunately, it seems that the ownership is experiencing financial issues and it really shows. The greens were in terrible shape, the bunkers were lacking in sand, and the cart trails have deteriorated. Sad to see!

“Nice layout.... but.. come on down... time to play Plinko”
Reviewed 16 July 2012

Just got back from a golf weekend in Silvethorn area, played both Keystone courses and The Raven and by far The Raven was the worst of the three. Had family from Germany visting and wanted to play mountain golf. Green were the worst, it was like playing Plinko. So parts of the Greens were just dirt no grass. Bunker have no sand.

It is a nice layout and very difficult, really cool holes on the course. Number nine you can hit a 400 yrd drive down the hill and nice creeks running around the course. But overall the course is in terrible shape and for the money I would go somewhere else.

I played The Raven last year with a friend and it was in much better shape. It was a very dry winter so that could be some of the problem but still no one wants to pay $150 to play Plinko on the greens.
