Located at 1067 Notorious Blair St. in the heart of Silverton, Colorado’s red light district. In the last seven years, the restaurant has undergone major renovations to bring you food made from scratch and craft beer! With the addition of our 7bbl brewery, we serve six of our very own elevated ales we hand craft just for you with some of the best tasting water on the planet! Summer 2016 has brought us new menus with lots of options including our all new appetizers. We are serving up the same great artisan pizzas, wraps, and salads you've come to know. Don’t believe us? Ask a local! We’ve won the Taste of Silverton four years in a row and won the Certificate of Excellence from trip advisor. We hope you love our place as much as we do.

“Funky Fun Coffee Shop and Cafe”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 July 2014

I always try the local coffee house in towns that I visit and Avalanche did not disappoint! My Latte was rich and smooth with a nice long aftertaste. I did not try the food but they had a nice simple menu and all the food and sandwiches are made fresh.

“The coffee was good, but the barista/bartender”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 July 2014

was very unfriendly. 6 of us ordered drinks (or tried to, they were out of 2 things we asked for) and he never made eye contact or conversation except to say "We're out." Don't know that I'd go back. Silverton only has a short window where there are a lot of tourists in town, he should know to treat them better.

“Very good made-to-order breakfast sandwich”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2014

I'm so accustomed to getting a breakfast sandwich that was made an hour before and wrapped in plastic. This one was on a fresh biscuit with good cheddar cheese, red peppers, beans, and eggs. It was quite tasty. Coffee was great, too. I didn't get to go back, but I understand this is a great place for an afternoon beer, as well. Great outdoor seating and a colorful ambiance. I'll return.

“This Brewery is the Best part of Silverton Trip”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 July 2014

We took the narrow gauge train from Durango and the Avalance is a short walk from the drop off station. This cute, friendly, quirky internet cafe/brewery was the best part of the town (which was disappointing). We didn't order any food, but the items other guests were eating looked very good. They were out of the IPA, but the beer we tried (can't remember the name) was very good. We sat outside and visited with other guests and watched the tourists walk by.

We stopped here for lunch on our trip to Silverton. The food was delicious and the service was fast. The view from the patio is amazing.
