Description: The Pickle Barrel Restaurant is one of the longest continually running restaurants in Silverton, Since 1971! The building is also one of the oldest masonary builings on the western slope of Colorado. We encourage everyone to come check it our and the bar in the back, with its eklectic feel. It may be one of the oldest restaurants here in Silverton, but the menu changes often with summer dinner specials changing weekly with a nice gourmet feel. Make sure to see what we have in the winter. Check next door for Ice Cream, expresso and now soaking in Silverton!

My wife and I went their for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The food was very tasty and the portions were enough for us to split. The Chilli soup I had was exceptional and the portion was huge. We split the Reuben sandwich that was very good. The prices were very reasonable and affordable.

Had a great lunch here. Reasonably priced, quick and friendly service, and a great taste! Historic location and easy access from the train stop!

Stopped in for a little lunch. Nothing special and seemed to be a little over priced. Plain sandwich, frozen chicken stripes for the kids. Server seemed to lost and was very smelly.

We have enjoyed a meal at the Pickle Barrel several times. They are one of the few restaurants in Silverton to stay open thru the winter. Although the train was in town and the place was busy, we received prompt courteous service. I had a 'burger with all the trimmings & a beer. Person with me had a BLT with avocado & swiss on toast. Both meals were as good as expected based on previous visits.
Plan to visit again, even in winter if the road over Red Mountain is open.

We went here because of reviews on Trip Advisor - and sure enough another good choice! My husband had the PB mushroom burger - I had the chicken wrap - we both were satisfied with our meals. Service was great!
