“Awesome dinner”
Review of Nest Public Lounge

Nest Public Lounge
Price range: US$10 - US$30
Cuisines: American, Pub, Gastropub
Description: NEST, Public House is a slope-side/pool-side, Colorado Craft Beer Gastro pub, all fun no attitude, just altitude. The inspired menu is bursting with dining options which are designed to nourish and refresh. To complete the gastro pub experience is a Colorado tradition of craft style beers, ales and stouts, as hand crafted as the food and just as delicious in their own right.

“Upscale slope side dining in Snowmass”
Reviewed 4 January 2013 via mobile

Nest is located next to the ski valet at the Viceroy on Assay Hill. There are tables inside and out. There is a large fire pit outside and plenty of table side heaters. The menu features interesting and tasty sushi rolls plus asian inspired entrees, fun cocktails, sake list. Friendly and efficient service. Pleasant though perhaps not the most dramatic view. This is a very nice upscale addition to the on mountain dining options at Snowmass.

“Nest Poolside Menu”
Reviewed 24 March 2012

It was a bluebird day in Snowmass Village today. Our party enjoyed cabana dining at Nest with friends. Attentative service, great vodka drink choices, however, the menu is sushi only, and not everyone in our party of seven wanted sushi. We requested a bar menu for other choices, but were told, "no way," management would NOT allow. Too bad. The sushi choices ordered by some in our party (others just skipped) was bland, and lacked dipping sauce choices. Some in our party are locals, and said City Market in Basalt offers much better sushi--can you believe?

“Never Apre, Pre or During at this place”
Reviewed 1 March 2012

Aspen is notorious for bad service in the first place, so to get such bad service that I would even write shows you just how terrible it is. Waitress was terrible, we were waiting on two rounds of drinks at Apre for an average of 20 minutes each. Then the sushi came out and was falling apart and really poorly done, it also took about an hour for 4 rolls to come out. Now bear in mind this place is tiny and absolutely no excuse for it to take so long or for a table to be neglected. If you stay at the viceroy, better to Apre at another bar at Snowmass base.
