We popped in to Nest this weekend after skiing snowmass. One of the lifties referred us to this little "pub". As a local and knowing it as a sushi spot - I was so not interested. But, he told us they changed it all and it's amazing. He was so right!!! We rolled off Assay Hill and handed our gear to the ski valet (who were fantastic by the way.... fun, thoughtful, professional and on top of everything!). We walked in to the cool little spot and were greeted by the staff immediately. We sat down and scanned the menu, what a difference. I like beer, but I'm a casual drinking so the server (a very nice girl named Ellie!) explained that they specialize in Colorado microbrews! She said if we had any questions she would love to send over the manager to help us decide. My boyfriend was interested in some IPA's and I just wanted something tasty. So, the manager came over to assist! WOW!!!! She was so great. Helped us find exactly what we wanted! She was awesome, knew so much about beer and helped us actually learn while we were there. It was so fun and cool! I now know that I love a Saison and a chocolate stout (Colette and Lugene) and my boyfriend has a list of amazing IPA's he's on the hunt for! The beer list here alone is worth the trip, but the food and the staff are surprisingly amazing! We ate lunch, had a so yum tikka masala and a house made hot dog! Amazing! It was all fresh and delicious! We had such a great time! Every time we ski snowmass - we will visit Nest! The amazing servers, bartenders and that manager made the already delicious meal all the better!!!!
