“Forgettable but wonderful desserts”
Reviewed 24 March 2014 via mobile

Sage at the Snowmass club is in a very nice building with a relatively snobby atmosphere. Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait for approximately half an hour while the previous party exited our table. It seemed that the front staff had forgotten about our reservation. While the elk was excellent, the rest of the meal was forgettable, until dessert which again was wonderful. So we give Sage a mixed review for family.

“Mixed feelings”
Reviewed 9 March 2014

This restaurant seems to yo-yo between excellent and awful. Following the recent loss (for the umpteenth time) of their head chef, the place is managing to produce good food under the eye of the sous chefs. However, the service is so "fawlty towers" that it qualifies as free entertainment. Come on now guys, the loss of the head chef doesn't mean that front-of-house staff training has to go out of the window!

“Best Thanksgiving dinner ever!”
Reviewed 30 November 2013 via mobile

We have gone here fir thanksgiving before but the food here this time was even better than the last. Other times we have delighted in the main courses which included thanksgiving classics. This year the salads and apps and dessets were unworldly fabulous. Bravo sage chefs!!

“Wonderful Atmosphere!”
Reviewed 29 July 2013

We dropped in for a bite to eat with a reservation and were seated immediately at a table outside and were able to watch the sky change colors for sunset. Our food was great, but the wait a bit long. Apparently a large party had shown up with no reservations. Definitely would go back.

“Good food if you can stand to wait for it!”
Reviewed 29 July 2013

Nice setting, good food but slow slow slow service. Something is wrong in the kitchen if you have to wait an hour for your dinner to be served. They apologize and make an effort to adjust your bill but I would rather pay full price and get my dinner in a reasonable time.
