We made the mistake of going to Gwyn's on our second day of skiing. We missed a day! If given the opportunity, we would have breakfast and lunch each day we were there. Service is fantastic, food is perfect, wine list is lovely ... and the crocs vs. ski boots option is the proverbial "icing".

This restaurant needs to be cleaned from top to bottom. The smell is horrible, and the restrooms are inconvenient. Way to expensive for the fare that it served.

Gwyn's is a wonderful treat. We visit snowmass a couple of weeks each winter and never miss a meal at Gwyn's High Alpine for lunch. The daily specials never disappoint, lunch can last as long or short as you desire, and the wait staff is super friendly.

Brought back memories of dining in Austrian, Swiss or Spanish ski resorts. Great family meal. Definitely more expensive than most ... but the food and ambiance also are so much better. The lamb chops - signature dish - were simply delectable! I will return just to eat them again. Yummmmmmy! Kids had a great meal, as well!

Our family (three generations of simultaneous skiers) loves both the quick, delicious, casual cafeteria-style meal on the "High Alpine" side of the restaurant, AND the leisurely sit-down luxury experience on the "Gwyn's" side. Several members of the family want to eat here every skiing meal of the week if possible, and tend to ignore all the other slopeside possibilities (what, there are other restaurants?). We've been going to Gwyn's for 20 years and are never disappointed.

High Alpine Cafeteria: YUM... we love the Mahi George (Mahi burger with pineapple, bacon, Swiss), the Gorgeous George (beef cheeseburger with the same toppings), the veggie curry rice bowl, the veggie or chicken wrap, and especially the desserts! So many enticing and tasty, sweet wonders to choose from, we sometimes take pictures with our phones to mull over what the choice will be the next day.

Gwyn's Sit-Down Restaurant: we always make a reservation for one meal here each ski week, and everyone makes an effort to be there, even those not skiing - they come up with snowshoes and the chairlift, because no one wants to miss it. It's friendly, comfortable, crocs provided for relief from ski boots, and hard to decide what to eat, because there are so many lovely choices. We always get the seafood puffs, and often mushroom risotto, elk medallions, rainbow trout, and again we have trouble picking desserts because a big tray full of delights is brought tableside for us to ogle. Mmmm. Just writing this makes me want to go back soon.
