“A Littel Bit of Paris in Snowmass”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 June 2014

Because we were staying in a condo at the base of Snowmass Village, this fine restaurant became our go to place over the two week stay there. It is exactly like a bistro in Paris, with the same furnishings, and food. The menu features typical bistro food, all of which is excellent. Over the course of our stay we tried the mussels and frites, great crusty bread on butcher paper table covering, and the huge Ricard burger. Other sides, such as shaved Brussels sprouts go with most anything and are delicious. The prices are a bit high for a bistro but in line with most of the places in the village. We are going back there again this season and I can't wait. The wait staff is also great, service is usually good.

“Friendly and delicious”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 April 2014 via mobile

We ate here four or five times while we were in Snowmass. The staff were very friendly and indulged our kids, the food was good and reasonably priced, with a good selection of beers and French wines, all-in- all a great place we all look forward to revisiting.

“Great restaurant in the base village”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 April 2014

We went there quite a few times (the location was extremely convenient for us). The food was really good, the brasserie-style decor was quite nice and the menu was great. The service was average: the place is new so maybe most of the waiters were learning... Very good experience overall. The chateubriand is excellent (but expensive).

“A terrific place for lunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 March 2014

Lunch was so good the first day that we ate at Ricard that we returned the next day with friends. Nothing can beat sitting outside on a beautiful sunny day after a morning of skiing. Everything that we ordered was delicious. The first day we had a delicious cheese platter and hearty soup - - one French onion and one white bean. A perfect meal considering that web ad to ski back to Two Creeks after lunch. And, the service was excellent.

The following day, the food was just as good, but the service was very slow. The restaurant was very crowded with large parties which might have accounted for the slow service. But, I could use the rest so I did not mind. I can't think of a place on the mountain where I would rather eat lunch.
