I stayed at the Wildwood for several nights, then one night at Stonebridge - I LOVED my experience at the Stonebridge. The room was super clean and gorgeous and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay the best i could've asked for. They put the Wildwood to shame. The pool and fitness facilities were pretty impressive too; I left feeling fully spoiled.

A room with a sweeping view of mountains, a restaurant with a terrace with flowers overlooking the mountains, and a location steps away from Snowmass a Village shops and restaurants cannot be beat! One evening, we just walked to the gondola and took it up the mountain for dinner at a restaurant ("Venga Venga") on a terrace that had chairs around a fire pit/table overlooking the amazing vista, and after a nice dinner of Mexican food and wine, we roasted marshmallows at our fire pit and ate s'mores for dessert - at the restaurant! The pool has views, too, as well as two outdoor hot tubs, all clean and nicely landscaped. The only drawback of the Stonebridge Inn was that being a green hotel, it did not have air-conditioning. I actually really like no a.c., but the two fans in our room, in July, just could not keep my son and husband cool enough at night, even with the window open. Otherwise, great hotel service staff, location lovely and so convenient to all Snowmass/Aspen has to offer! Would definitely go there again!!

Room Tip: Mountain views are a delightful MUST!

Stayed here for an early summer getaway for our anniversary. Clean and maintained well. Homey feel, not "corporate." Nice restaurant.

The biggest plus was the staff. We truly felt "welcomed," and the level of hospitality remained top-notch throughout the length of our stay. Impressive in today's "get 'em in, get 'em out," corporate mentality.

The only downside...you'll have to call a separate place and book early if you want spa services during the summer. Not too big a deal, though.

We're planning to return!

The rooms were clean, the restaurant delicious, the bar active, the hotel staff knowledgeable and helpful. The gym is really well prepped. A short walk to the slope, really short walk, no big deal. No down side to this stay other than a slow elevator, also no big deal.

My daughter and I stayed here for the NASTAR championships at the end of March, and we found Stonebridge to be a great launching point for our activities.

First, the location -- its a very short walk to the slope from the rooms, up a short flight of steps then less than 100' down a service road and you're putting on your skis. The slope is serviced by the Village Express, which is one of the main lifts -- if Snowmass is open, this lift is open. Further, the hotel is halfway between the Snowmass base area and the Snowmass mall (open walking mall). This worked out perfect, as it was a short 5 minute walk to either area. The hotel has a ski locker, but this is the one area that is sub-par -- it's just a small door into a concrete pit 2-3 feet below ground. Your skis would sit in melting snow water (no carpet), and anything small would be unreachable. The front desk recommended we just bring the skis up to our room, which worked out much better.

The rooms were great; we stayed on the 5th floor (confusing since the lobby is on the 4th floor!), and had a mountain view. Despite the hotel being full, we did not hear noise in our room at any time. The maid service was fantastic, and they were great about cleaning the room when we were out. Oddly, they only took the tip we left on 2 days out of 7 -- not sure if this is a hotel policy or what, but in my experience very unusual.

For breakfast, since I thought the buffet was too expensive for a quick meal, I walked up to the mall and picked up pastries/burrito and coffee and brought it back to the room. However, about halfway through the trip I learned that you could order just the omelet bar, or just the 'cold buffet' including coffee for less than $10. Then, the last day, I learned that you could buy a plate from the 'cold buffet' for $4 and bring it back to your room. This was bordering on ridiculous -- fresh fruit, a few pastries, and coffee in the room for $4?? Great deal, just wish I'd discovered it earlier in the trip.

I'll review the onsite restaurant separately, but we ate dinner there twice, and it was really good both times. Easily the best restaurant we tried while at Snowmass -- although there were some odd service moments. It was good service, just strange -- no one in our group wanted french fries, and the waiter would only substitute another starch for the fries, despite our being willing to pay any difference. We gave up, and just ordered additional sides.

The hotel service was great; there were always people at the front desk who could answer any question we posed. Forgot my razor, and they provided one w/shaving cream at no charge. We also lost the ski-locker key, and when I checked at the front desk expecting a $25 or more service charge, they just handed me another one -- no problem at all. The hotel provides airport transfers to Aspen airport at no charge, we called when we landed, and they were there when our luggage arrived. When departing note that they only leave "on the hour".

Room Tip: Corner room on the 5th floor (502) had a great view, and was extremely quiet.

The staff were sincere, friendly and extremely helpful. They seemed to anticipate my needs and were more than willing to go above and beyond whenever asked. Reasonably priced, compared with other hotels in the area. Storage in the rooms was adequate, plus extra space near door for jackets and ski pants or wet boots. Dining room food is excellent and delicious. I have been staying at the Stonebridge Inn for a week the past 10 years and have been extremely happy with the properties anemities. The only negative I would make about the Stonebridge is the small and very slow elevator that serves the entire 7 floors. On busy days this is very frustrating.

This was a great location for a number of reasons. You can ski on and off the slopes. There is a bus stop in front - busses take you to and from Aspen for free! The price is reasonable for the location. There is an OK bar and restaurant in the hotel. And, you can walk to Snowmass Village or to the bottom of the lifts, where there are other restaurants, bars and entertainment.

The rooms are just basic and not fancy. A suite would have been nice. There are lockers to keep your equipment on the first floor. All in all a perfect ski hotel.
