Big Hoss has that old school diner feel about it. The meat selection was ok but really not great, the Caesar salad was good.

Service was friendly and prompt.

Came here on the day we arrived in Snowmass. Seated immediately. Very good service. Noisy, but not overwhelming.

Husband's steak was cooked well in some spots, overdone in others. The cut was of uneven thicknesses, and attention was not paid. My ribs were nicely seasoned, but dry in many places. Will probably not go back, as there are many other choices in the immediate and wider area.

Big Hoss offers a full breakfast menu at reasonable prices and excellent quality. Our hotel offered a free breakfast, but after the first day we headed out in search of something better. We were delighted to find Big Hoss.

The "fruit of the day" pancakes are excellent - big, fluffy, just the right amount of fruit.

They made an egg white omelet for me both days we went that was perfectly cooked and came with toast and potatoes (which could be substituted by fruit).

A side of vanilla yogurt was infused with vanilla flavor - delicious.

The yogurt parfait looks amazing. I didn't try it, but it's definitely on my list for a future visit. It's served in a giant beer stein. Certainly hearty enough to hold you until lunch on the slopes.

Service is wonderful, accurate, and super friendly, but it would definitely help if there were some back-up for the main server. Both mornings we were there, she was there alone. I'm not sure if that was because someone was unable to make it in or if no one else was scheduled.

The place gets packed by 8:00, so if you want an early start on the slopes, I recommend getting there at 7:30 when they open.

Highly recommended.

Instead of putting in my order and serving drinks or food, the bartender was too busy texting. The food was mediocre. Go somewhere else for lunch.

We love coming here during our ski trips to Snowmass. The brisket nachos are fabulous, highly recommend them. Reasonable pitchers of beer with music not blaring like some other Snowmass bars/restaurants.
