Wow, what a great evening this last Sunday. Listened to live music on the patio and enjoyed a glass of vino and some of the best lasagne I've had in a long time. My husband had gluten-free Pasta Ravena. So delicious!! The service and atmosphere is top notch. Don't miss it!!!

We often go to Steamboat in the summer and have always eaten at Mambo, usually a few times during our trip. This trip we ate there on the first day and that was it. Our pizzas were soggy. They didn't look appetizing at all and weren't very good. We were pretty disappointed with our old favorite Steamboat restaurant. There also seemed to be some issues with the hostess not knowing where to seat people. We saw her seat one family, they got their drinks, then she came and told them they had to move (they weren't too happy about that), then after a few more minutes, moved them back to their original table. Also, they no longer have Fat Tire on tap.

Great food, and the waitstaff and bartenders are all great BUT the hostess—the first impression person— was a complete tart who couldn't pull herself from her iphone then forgot to put us on the list for a table after we waited for 45 minutes. She acted like we were interrupting her texting thankfully the bartender and the bright red headed lady took care of us. July 4 visit.

Visited Mambo Italiano during a recent girls' trip to Steamboat. It was hands down the best meal I had while I was in Steamboat. We shared several appetizers (olives, fried zucchini, meatballs, sausage) and bread and then each ordered entrees. The fried zucchini and meatballs were the stars in my opinion. The fresh-baked bread is also delicious. Every one of us except the chicken parm. cleaned our plates during entree round. The pasta was fresh and light. Sauces were delicious. Our waitress was cheery and knowledgeable throughout the ordering process and the food came out promptly.

Only issue: I would recommend tasting the wine before selecting if you are unfamiliar-- I was not impressed with our first choice from their wine list.

Our family is regularly in Steamboat and we never miss a trip to Mambo's. Must start with calamari and mussels for appetizers. They never fail to be delicious. The kids always order the pizzas but a favorite pasta, the Mambo Ravioli is missing from the new menu! Please bring it back. The restaurant is always crowded but they do try to be as accommodating as possible. I recommend going early or later for dinner.
