“Very good pizza”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

Stopped in our way up to camping and had the buffet - it was very good pizza that was nice and hot. I did notice the first pizzas that came out had that amazing crust I love at Beau Jo's but the pizzas after that had thin crust. I would say the salad bar could be a little better, just not a great lettuce choice but not awful.

“Unique delicious pizza”
Reviewed 11 April 2014

Loved the sweeter dough crust with the honey dipping sauces. Toppings and cheese were plentiful, good balanced pizza with a unique twist. We took it to go, didn't dine in.

“Terrific option for Pizza in Steamboat”
Reviewed 8 April 2014

Took a break from the steak, burger places and opted for pizza one night. Settled on trying Beau Jo's and it was a really good choice. The restaurant is on the smaller side so I could see how it could get very crowded during busy season and would have to wait for a table. However since it was near the end of the ski season, it was not too crowded and plenty of tables for dinner. The decor is nothing fancy but then, it's a pizza place, not an upscale fine dining restaurant.

Being from Chicago, we're used to lots of pizza options- thin, thick, pan, stuffed, double crust. We ordered 2 different Mountain Pies and we enjoyed them both. Not quite a deep dish pizza, a little thinner than that. The crust however is pretty good. The ingredients tasted very fresh and plentiful on the pizza itself. Anyone pizza lover won't be disappointed- would definitely recommend.

“Come Hungry”
Reviewed 29 March 2014

Visited this restaurant for the first time at a friend's recommendation.

We arrived just before the crowd did and were glad we did as the dining area is limited We ordered several of the smaller sized "Mountain Pie"s, as my group is picky with their toppings. The smallest one offered was quite generous in size for one person. Although the pictures make it look like a thick crust pizza, it really is more of a "thicker thin crust" with generous toppings loaded on top. The end crust is a roll in itself and when dipped with the honey available table-side, is incredible. The pizza is very good and available in a honey wheat crust as well as the more traditional honey white. When we were done, we had plenty of leftovers. It reheats well in the microwave.

There seems to be quite a few good places for pizza in Steamboat Springs. This place should be tried.
