We had wonderful trip to Steamboat over New Years week. The Innsbruck condo (at Storm Meadows) was very comfortable for me and my husband, my two kids and their two friends (ages 9 to 16) and my elderly uncle and his wife. The two master suites (one upper and one lower level) were perfect for the adults. And the other two bedrooms, on the lower level (walk out), worked well for the kids. The kids especially enjoyed the lower level rec room (it has privacy from the kitchen, dining area, and great room on upper level) and the private hot tub off the lower level. The master suite, on the upper floor, worked well for my Uncle's bad knees- from the entrance or the garage there are only a couple steps up to get to the upper level. The washer/dryer are near the three bedrooms (lower level), and got a lot of use. The kitchen is well stocked and the bathrooms are nice and spacious. We had two friends vacationing in town, whom we invited up for dinner. We used the grill both times (on the deck- upper level) to grill steaks one night and then barbecue another. The group of ten fit around the dining room table comfortably. There is seating for three more people around the kitchen bar if needed. The space truly felt like a home vs a condo and we had no noise from the neighbors to our side (there is nothing above or below this condo/this is an end unit). There are partial views of the Flat Top Mountains from the upper level and deck with pines and aspens sprinkled between the condos. Kim, the manager, was fantastic. She was friendly and personable and really enhanced our experience. Upon arrival, she met us at the condo with the keys and helped us settle in and gave us a lot helpful direction for our stay at Steamboat. We briefly bumped into the the family who stayed over Christmas week (before us) and they said she set up a Christmas tree with ornaments for them prior to their arrival!
During the trip we had great snow, (14 inches over a four day stretch) and were able to ski in and out of the condo, although it required a little bit of polling on the way in, but it was easily manageable, even for the 9 year old (virtually no polling on the way down to the lifts- starting from the hot tub). Kim informed us when the snow is thin or when you choose to get a ride down to the gondola, there is a shuttle that runs every 15 minutes or so (and at times on call). For our next trip to Steamboat we plan to stay here again. It really feels warm and welcoming
