Our tour was an enjoyable six days of cycling through the beautiful Cotswold countryside. Pedal England did their very best to accommodate our requests and needs, while keeping us safe and on the right paths, which were mainly country roads mixed with farm lanes. Terrain varied from rolling hills to challenging slopes. SAG (support and gear) vehicle was always nearby with water and assistance, if needed. The guides were very professional, courteous and welcoming to our group, often sharing a beverage with us at the end of a full day of touring.
Every day was enjoyable! Well worth the journey, whether with family or friends!

I signed up for the Cotswold biking trip with a group of friends. The bikes provided for us were top notch. Our host guides (Will, Ian and Geraint) were attentive, knowledgeable, personable and fun. We rode through beautiful country villages and towns, taking in all the sights and history. Our accommodations were great. I would do it again!

Our Cotswolds trip was a perfect blend of biking and absorbing the local culture. The first couple of days were longer in miles as the terrain was fairly flat. As we went into the Cotswolds, the terrain became more rolling and the daily mileage was trimmed. It all worked as there was much to see from Windor Castle to Blenheim Palace, truly magnificant, and of course soak up the charm and beauty of the countryside.

Our guides Will, Ian and Geraint were smart local residents who had a great grasp of all the area history. They all had great personalities and seemed to enjoy us as much as we enjoyed them. The hotels durning our stay were historic and lovely. The only little glitch in the whole trip was the dinner dining service at the hotels as it was painfully slow as new staff was being trained for the upcoming summer season.

The biking equipment was excellent and the guys kept us safe and on the right (I mean left) side of the road. It's a small organization that was very responsive to our individual needs and trip pricing is reasonable for all that is included. Do it!!

This was my very first bike trip and I can't begin to tell you how wonderful it was. First, Geraint, Ian and Will were fantastic. The entire trip was planned perfectly and their main concern was our safety. They were all very knowledgeable on all the areas we visited and they planned our days perfectly. Wonderful bunch of guys and would definitely go on another bike tour with them.
Missing you guys already. Donna (D1)

We recently went on a Cotswolds tour with Pedal England and found it to be the perfect blend of exercise and sightseeing. The biking was perfect for our diverse group, with some of the fastest folks going off with one guide, and the slower folks coming along with another guide who was at the end of the group to make sure all were accounted for. We all had many breaks to catch up, chat, rest, drink coffee; yet we made very good daily mileages. The guides were absolutely committed to our safety, and with traffic in England being all backwards, they prevented many accidents that could have happened. The guides gave good color commentary to the areas we visited. The places we stayed at were all nice to very nice...The food was good, though not quite as 'traditional English' as I would have expected (though one Bed&Breakfast made me some crumpets upon special request...and nobody in England that I met seemed to know/agree on as to what crumpets are). The only 'room for improvement' feedback would be to stick with the schedule of expected attractions more; a few times those were substituted and we would have liked to see everything described on the daily agenda. All in all the trip was a success: the guides were great, the bikes well-maintained (the tires only seemed to blow out under the guides for some reason), the selected route very representative of the English countryside and the experience of a group of 14 with different ages/different backgrounds of guests was very refreshing.
