“Needs Work.”
Reviewed 20 September 2010 for a stay in September 2010

I booked this unit for the Blues N Brews fest. It was $575 for 3 nights, which I am told is a good price for during a festival. The other good news is that is was pretty close to several bars and the gondola. The place was clean, and it does have a loft with a second bed, so if you don't mind sharing what mounts to a large studio with another couple, it would be pretty cheap to stay there.

Now for the low points: The tile in the bathroom floor is loose and can pinch your feet when you walk on it. Several broken tiles. No nightstands, so you can't keep your eyeglasses and/or cup of water handy. The carpet is very cheap and warn, especially on the steps to the loft. There are no window treatments on the upper glass, so the light comes in early; which is not welcome when one is out listening to music until 2 AM. The place was also too warm, and even with windows open we had a hard time being comfortable, but this may not be an issue most months.

We also thought they should warn guests that there is a coffee maker but you need to supply your own coffee and filters. The kitchenette has pots and pans but no oven or stove, only a small microwave and mini fridge. There is a big cabinet that used to be for a TV, and takes up a lot of room with little utility, mainly just in the way. The dining room table is smaller than a card table. There is no parking at the unit. We paid $30 to park in the garage overnight and then moved the car to the garage by the visitor center.

The building itself is poorly marked, so we drove by it few times. Other folks there were also confused as far as how to get to their unit. This one is on the 4th floor, hence 41C. They do allow pets, but we did have a cat that wanted to stay in our room or at least come in for a meal.

We did express our disappointment to the management folks where you check in, but there were pretty much uncaring. You have to go into the town of Telluride to check in, and their directions were not very helpful.
