I have stayed at the New Sheridan each time I have gone to Telluride on motorcycle trips. It is truly a wonderful, relaxing way to take a few days off the cycle! I use the hotel as a "base camp" for day trips to Silverton, Durango, and northern New Mexico. My favorite restaurant is the Chop House which is immediately next door to the hotel. Wonderful varied menu, and I find it hard not to eat there each evening. The breakfast served by the hotel is a delight, and I had huevos rancheros with fresh strawberries and melon my last visit. Ray, the manager, will accomodate your every need, and I am already looking forward to my next trip in July '03. See you then!
